Incredibly proud of my friend and mentor Dr Dilip Gahankari who was awarded OAM today in recognition of two decades of volunteering surgical aid work in rural India.

In 2015 he invited me to join and document the issue of reconstructive surgical access - and he inadvertently set me on a path of documenting this issue globally. .au
