Some love stories are loud.

Others are found in the quiet moments... the way they look at each other when they think no one is watching, the uncontrollable laughter, the gentle touch that says more than words ever could.

Spending the afternoon with Kayla and Paul reminded me why I love what I do so much. It wasn't about perfect poses or creating something that wasn't there. It was simply about capturing the beautiful connection they already share.

These two will be saying "I do" later this year, and after seeing the way they light up around each other, I already know their wedding day is going to be incredibly special. 🤍

Tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, and the kind of love that fills every corner of a home. 🤍

Just two weeks after welcoming little Zurich into the world, I had the privilege of seeing this beautiful family again—this time in the peaceful rhythm of their new chapter together.

These early days pass by in the blink of an eye. The newborn curls slowly disappear, the tiny features begin to change, and before you know it, they're no longer this little. That's why these moments deserve to be remembered exactly as they are.

Thank you, Elmarie & Eugene, for trusting me to document not only Zurich's first breath, but also the beautiful beginning of life as a family of three. What an honour it has been to tell your story from the very first moments. 💙✨

After a journey filled with hope, prayers, and a longing that felt like forever, Elmarie and Eugene finally got to meet the little boy who has already been so deeply loved.

It was an incredible privilege to be there and capture the arrival of this precious little life. To witness a family’s story change forever and preserve the moments they will one day look back on with so much emotion is something I will never take for granted.

After more than a decade together, they celebrated their marriage surrounded by the people who have witnessed their journey — at the stunning Het Vlock Casteel in Riebeek -Kasteel on the 2nd of May.

And this morning, at 08:04, their miracle finally arrived.

Welcome to the world, baby Simeon. 🤍

There are moments that remind me why I do what I do, and today was one of them. Standing quietly behind my camera, witnessing the very first breath, the first cry, the overwhelming tears of joy, and two parents finally meeting the child they had prayed for over so many years.

No amount of words can truly capture the weight of that moment.

It is one of life's greatest privileges to be invited into such sacred spaces—to witness a new life begin and a family become whole.

Some weddings are deeply moving.

And then there are weddings like this one — where you can feel God's presence in every moment. 🤍

Before the vows were exchanged and before the celebration began, there was gratitude. A quiet acknowledgment that their story was written by hands far greater than their own.

The tears.
The worship.
The overwhelming joy.

These are the moments that matter.

Not the perfectly posed ones, but the real moments that become treasured memories for generations.
