All the matric dances this year seem to be on the same days. Note to matric parents for next year… please book photographers when you know the dates and don’t wait until a few weeks before.
I’ve turned down 3 moms in the last week.

I was at the launch of the Northcliff High School Tsh*tuka Rugby Scholarship yesterday morning.
Vincent Tsh*tuka spoke so beautifully about how much this means to him and his family after the road they have travelled with the school. The brothers were also helped with scholarships and they are all so successful.
I love that there’s going to more amazing talent that is fostered through this initiative at the school sponsored by Beagle Watch Armed Response

I don’t often do corporate photography work but I was on leave for the day.
This was such a special event for me… as a mom whose boys both went through high school at Northcliff and have been so involved with rugby there while at school and coaching once they left.

I met Shaun and Alicia for their annual family shoot on Sunday afternoon at Walter Sisulu gardens.
We had a lot of fun exploring the gardens, checking out the waterfall and ended with lots of giggles at the water fountain.

It was the KES MD on Saturday night and I met Wade and his friends for photos at their pre-drinks.
I had a blast with the stunning couples and the gorgeous cars

It was David’s matric dance on Friday night and I met him, his date and the most gorgeous MG for some photos before the big night.

Walter Sisulu is always a great location choice in winter as it’s the only park around that’s still a little green. Loved the kids energy in yesterday’s shoot and thankfully we booked it for the day before the cold weather hit!

Odette contacted me a while ago wanting an autumn family shoot. It’s such a short season and Delta Park is really one of the few parks that have autumn colours so I’m thrilled that we timed the date perfectly.

It was Emma’s matric dance on Saturday night.
How amazing is her red dress and the gorgeous Plymouth from the 1930s!?
Love that Leo came all the way from Jersey to go to her dance with her.
All in all a really special photoshoot… also because I’ve known the family since pre-kids days.
