✨ Sometimes the story behind the photos is just as good as the photos themselves. ✨

This young man contacted me the day before his matric dance to arrange his photos. His date? He had only met her about 10 minutes before I started photographing them. 😂

Some might call that unorganised.

I call it resourceful. 👏

And honestly, I’m incredibly proud of this gallery — because my job wasn't just to take pretty photos. It was to make two people who had literally just met feel comfortable enough to create natural, relaxed images together.

Because matric dance photos aren't exactly casual. 😂 You need closeness, connection and a little bit of chemistry — even when the chemistry hasn't had much time to develop yet!

Watching them go from “Hi, nice to meet you” to looking completely comfortable in front of my camera was such a cool experience.

And this gallery is proof that sometimes you don't need months of planning to create beautiful memories.

You just need to show up, trust the process and make it work. 📸

✨ A little bridal shower magic for the beautiful bride-to-be, Trinisha! 🤍

Two weekends ago, I got to capture the most gorgeous day at Nushka’s Rustic Table, tucked away in one of their beautiful domes. 🌿✨
