There is plenty of motherly love to go around! This little guy was craving for mums attention but the look on that adorable little face shows that he may be just a little embarrassed when mum licked him clean 😅😅😅

The lioness had her paws full, with four bundles of pure energy seemingly ready to play.

Lion cubs are just the cutest.

Motherly Love - huge lioness grooms her tiny cub💙

Every mother knows this trick…. Distract the little one with a toy, and use the opportunity to give them a wash😅.

This lioness was taught really well. Four tiny, busy little cubs and she took it in her stride. It amazes me just how gentle they can be,even while using those fearsome teeth 😬

It helped that she had the perfect den, high up in the koppies with little crevices at cages for the little ones to explore while she had the perfect vantage point to spot any danger.

The Mara River, Tanzania.

One of the most spectacular wildlife events on earth…and one of the most dangerous, unfolded before our eyes.

During the crossing, a huge Nike crocodile got hold of a wildebeest. For eight minutes the outcome looked inevitable.

I watched as the underdog fought the odds, twisting and pulling against an enormous crocodile, somehow finding the strength to keep going when it seemed that all hope was fading.

And then….when all appeared lost.,it broke free.

I have witnessed many incredible moments in the wild but watching this animal fight for its life in the Mara River is something I will never forget.

The fight was real….the outcome extraordinary.

Elephants arrive at camp to wish us good morning and good bye at the same time. This was an incredible experience and I hope I’ll be back soon.

Needless to say, I was blown away by the spectacle and emotional rollercoaster that is the crossing of the Mara River by thousands of Wildebeest on their greatest trek. I wasn’t prepared for how emotional it was … I felt myself rooting for the wildebeest and we all felt the dread when one was clamped by the jaws of a giant crocs. We all cheered in unison when the brave soul fought of 4 crocs to survive another day. I will post that video soon, when I have better signal. But for now I hope this gives you a little taste of the action. The croc attacks at between 24 and 26 seconds.
