I just found out that my mentor and a dear friend, Kim Taylor, has passed away after a long and courageous battle with prostate cancer.
Kim changed the course of my life. He was the person who first inspired me to pick up a camera and ultimately become a professional photographer. His belief in me, his generosity, and his passion for the craft left an imprint that will stay with me forever.
I often think back to my last trip to Canada, when I had the opportunity to visit and spend time with him. Looking back now, I’m especially grateful for those moments and the chance to thank him, simply by being there.
Thank you, Kim, for your mentorship, your friendship, and for helping me discover a path that became my life’s work.
Rest easy. Your legacy lives on through the many lives you’ve touched.
