for menzi & phume.

last weekend took us all the way to kzn, and what an experience it was. from the beautiful zulu traditions woven throughout the celebration to the warmth of everyone who welcomed us, there was so much we loved about documenting this day. and the reception? the energy was absolutely unmatched. we left with full hearts and an even greater appreciation for the stories we’re invited to tell. menzi & phume, thank you for trusting us to travel across the country to be part of something so meaningful. yakha umuzi, makoti.

the rain had other plans, but what a beautiful way to welcome wedding season back. a few last minute changes to the ceremony, a little unpredictability, and a day that came together so wonderfully. and esmari, every bit the editorial bride, had us reaching for our cameras all evening. we couldn’t have asked for a lovelier start to the season.

the athletic club & social offered luc and kristi a backdrop rich with character, where warm light, vintage textures and an unhurried pace transformed an engagement celebration into something quietly cinematic.

Wedding design is often experienced all at once.

You step into the room, take in the atmosphere, and before long it becomes the backdrop to conversation, laughter, speeches and dancing. By the end of the evening, it exists more as a feeling than a collection of individual details.

Returning to Paul and Afia’s celebration at La Paris Estate, we wanted to pause for a moment and look more closely.

This editorial is dedicated to the craftsmanship that quietly shaped the experience, the suspended florals, considered textures, sculptural tablescapes and gentle interplay of light that transformed the reception into something guests could move through rather than simply observe.

Every creative decision carried intention, and together they formed an environment that felt calm, immersive and deeply personal.

A thoughtful collaboration between Fleur Le Cordeur, Palm Event Hire and Arc Blooming, brought together with remarkable care.

Some celebrations deserve to be remembered not only for the people who filled the room, but for the artistry that shaped the space around them.

a cosy and unconventional look into the love story shared by stiaan & monri.

we’ve always wanted to do something a little warm and different for our engagement sessions, so when monri reached out to us with her vision at pauline’s we were ecstatic to help her bring it to life.

sometimes all a love story needs is a good cup of coffee on a chilly winter’s day.

your day unfolded in its own way, and somehow it couldn’t have been more perfect. even with the weather shifting around you, the light found you exactly when it needed to, and everything came together so beautifully.

there was so much depth to your celebration, especially the bulgarian traditions woven into the evening. it felt rich, meaningful, and so true to who you are.

a whole weekend in the cederberg with you, surrounded by your closest people, felt incredibly special. the quiet of the mountains, the open space, and that kind of untouched beauty created the perfect setting for something so intentional and close.

there was such an ease to everything, the kind that comes from being fully yourselves and being deeply loved by the people around you. so much laughter, so much warmth, and a celebration that felt as natural as the landscape it unfolded in.
