SAIBC 2026 ✨

Ballet and contemporary dance aren’t just about perfect positions and beautiful lines they’re about movement, music, emotion and feeling. 🎶💫

I had so much fun experimenting with slow shutter speeds and creative photography, allowing the movement to become part of the image. Instead of freezing the moment, I wanted to capture the energy, flow and emotion of the performance.

These are just a few of the creative slow-shutter images I captured at the ballet competition last week. Some are dreamy, some a little wild, and some wonderfully unpredictable! 😍

Because sometimes, the blur tells the story better than the sharpness ever could. ❤️

There truly is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish. We dream, we create, we care, we inspire and when life throws us a curveball, we somehow find a way to handle it usually with a little coffee and a lot of determination! ☕😉

We don’t need to fit ourselves into the world. Let’s help shape a world that fits women our dreams, our strengths, our differences and all the wonderful things that make us who we are.

Batman 🤝 LEGO 🤝 Hot Wheels = the ultimate birthday adventure! 🦇🧱🏎️

So that's exactly what we did! A custom photo frame where superheroes, building blocks, and fast cars all came together to celebrate one very excited little birthday boy. 🎉

A matric dance is so much more than a beautiful dress or a glamorous entrance. It's a milestone a celebration of hard work, cherished friendships, proud families, and the exciting journey that lies ahead.

On a beautiful, windless Friday, I had the privilege of photographing the gorgeous young woman, Kayleigh. Bathed in the warm winter sunshine and surrounded by the love of her family and friends, she truly radiated elegance, confidence, and grace.

There are moments as a photographer that remind me just how precious family truly is.

"Families are like a tree. Our branches may grow in different directions, and life may carry us many miles apart, but the roots we share run deep. Bound by love, we are forever connected always carrying a piece of home in our hearts." 🌳❤️

I recently had the privilege of photographing three generations of one incredible family during their short holiday together. Some had travelled from the West Coast, others from Cape Town, and others had made the long journey all the way from Australia.

On a beautifully misty morning in Eden Forest, surrounded by towering trees and soft light, we captured more than just photographs we captured hugs that had been long overdue, laughter that echoed through the forest, and memories that will be treasured long after everyone has returned home.

Distance may separate families, but love always brings them back together.

Thank you for trusting me to preserve these priceless moments. It was an honour to be part of your family's story. ❤️
