Senior year is going to feel like it just started... and then suddenly you’re ordering the cap and gown and counting down to graduation. Take a moment. Slow down. Plan the senior session now instead of squeezing it in later. When you book ahead, we have time to plan the outfits, choose the perfect locations and create a session that actually feels like THEM not something rushed just to check senior pictures off the list.

Brides, one of the easiest ways to make your wedding morning run smoother is to prep your flat lay details ahead of time. Put everything you want photographed into one box so when your photographer arrives, you can hand it over and we can get straight to creating.

Think: invitation, rings, jewelry, perfume, shoes, vow books, ribbon, sentimental pieces, and any little details you never want to forget.

You planned every little detail of your wedding day make sure those details get documented too.

Same photographer. Same subject. Two totally different looks.

These were shot with my Sigma Art 35mm and Canon 135mm, and I love them both for completely different reasons.

The 35mm gives me a wider view and lets the environment become part of the story. The 135mm gives me beautiful compression, dreamy backgrounds, and more separation from my subject.

Fun fact: I still shoot on a DSLR and love it.

You don’t need every new camera, lens, or gadget to create beautiful work. Learn your gear, understand your lenses, and create with what you have.

There’s something so special about getting to photograph a former student in a completely different season of her life.
She was home from college for a little bit this summer, so we met at Cafecito, pulled out her Bible, caught that beautiful morning glow and made a little magic. Watching her grow into a young woman who is doing incredible things while staying so grounded and strong in her faith makes me incredibly proud.

Keep shining, sweet Faith. This is only the beginning.

One day you’re zipping up their little backpacks and walking them into school… and then suddenly you’re watching them walk away carrying a letterman jacket and memories from an entire childhood.

Senior Sunday has a way of making moms realize it was always the little things that mattered most. The backpacks. The late night practices. The rushed mornings. The rides home. The version of them that still needed you for everything.
