This guy?! I looked back over our session and felt like I was looking at a magazine ad! He made it so easy to photograph him and I absolutely love how the images came out!

Three things he did for to make our sessions go so smoothly:

1. He came with his outfits all clean, hung up (not wrinkly) and matched up so they were ready to go. It saves us time and kept the momentum going so we had a great shoot but it didn’t take forever.

2. He brought his family. They hyped him up and made him feel comfortable. They brought the inside jokes and produced the authentic smiles!

3. He was confident. Even if he didn’t maybe feel confident in getting his photos done, the fact that he brought outfits he felt good in, was open to my ideas and let himself get goofy as we worked all lead to an amazing shoot!

Upcoming seniors take note! When it’s your turn to be in front of the camera, I swear these three things will really help you have an easy session with great results!

One year ago, this amazing man and his family celebrated his service and retirement from the US Marines. It was not only an honor to be any part of their event but also to be able to share a small bit of the heroic story behind the Duncan Family. His accomplishments are too many list here but just know he is a humble servant and friend to MANY!

The best part about photographing this retirement ceremony was also the fact that they allowed me the opportunity to try my hand at videography! My son joined me to help take some amazing video clips as I was taking photos!

It would be SUCH an honor to have you view the video made from the highlights of his Final Flight in the F-35 and his official military ceremony.
