It’s the day after Christmas.
The house feels….
Cozy.
Chaotic.
A little too loud.
A whole lotta messy.

The kids are fighting.
The boxes are piled up behind the front door waiting to be broken down and tossed.
The new clothes and gifts are scattered.
I’ve cleaned the living room countless amounts of times.
One of the kids has changed their outfit 4 times today just because they can.
The exhaustion has definitely set in… but so has the gratitude.
In the midst of all the craziness, I feel so thankful.
I read the stories of moms missing these days — good, bad and ugly.
The magic, noise, chaos, excitement; all of it.
Reading those stories reminds me to document more, scroll less.
Soak it in.
Maybe I shouldn’t get so stuck on a clean house.
Maybe I don’t need to yell at the kids about the mess.
Maybe… just maybe… I just need to enjoy every aspect of this pocket of time and hold it close.
Because I’ll never get this back.
And our home is BLESSED beyond measure.

Merry Christmas everyone.
I hope you have been BLESSED this holidays season with the feeling of contentment and appreciation for EVERY aspect this season.

I delivered my LAST Christmas mini session for 2025 this afternoon. PHEW 😅😭😩🥹🥲

Note to self for next year : shoot where you won’t have to edit something out of the background… for every. Single. Photo.

NECK DEEEEEEEP in busy season but we are making it through. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. 🔆👀

Now, I will decorate my house with my kids. I’ll be back to regular sessions and contacting people Monday. I started working my way through 100+ unread TEXT MESSAGES today. But stopped because it’s too distracting and time consuming. Same with my inbox on here 😩😩 I promise I’ll be in touch soon.
