But after photographing quinceañeras, I’ve noticed that sometimes it’s the little things families overlook that can make the biggest difference.

From giving yourself enough time in the schedule to making sure those meaningful family moments aren’t missed, a little preparation goes a long way.

And one thing I always want moms to remember: Not everything has to go perfectly for it to be a beautiful day.

21 years of knowing each other, and now a lifetime together.

Marissa and her husband have known each other for over two decades. Life took them in different directions, but years later, their paths crossed again. And this time, it led to forever.

Their wedding day was filled with family, laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of love.

From walking down the aisle to their first dance, it was such a privilege to capture this chapter of their story.

Of all the places at the wedding venue… I chose the hallway outside the men’s restroom. 😂

Not exactly where you’d expect to take your final wedding portraits, right?

But sometimes it’s not about finding the perfect location. It’s about knowing what to do with the location you have.

The lighting, the angles, the composition. I already had the final image in mind before I even picked up my camera.

Sometimes the photo you didn’t plan ends up being the one you remember most.
We had already finished a new homeowner session for Jahred Leal🏡 Loan Officer at Elite Mortgage NMLS ID- 2182374 and Gibbs Leal clients and I was getting ready to head out when the sky started doing this. Clouds in Yuma are rare enough… clouds with a sunset like this? We had to take one more. 🤓
