My first solo exhibition is coming soon! Mark your calendars now for Thursday, August 13th from 5:30-7:30 and don’t miss opening night of Wildness & Wonder: The Photography of Jon Burket at the Healthy West Orange Arts and Heritage Center at the Town of Oakland
I am very grateful to have this opportunity and have been working for weeks to put together some of my favorite wildlife, nature, landscape and travel photos. I am still ordering prints and finalizing the lineup but this exhibition will feature roughly 65-75 of my favorite shots with short stories to accompany some of them.
Since deciding to attempt to become a professional photographer in 2021 I have appreciated all of the support I have received from the community in Winter Garden and beyond. Sharing my photography at the SOBO gallery in historic Winter Garden has been a wonderful experience. I love seeing other people enjoy the moments I have been able to capture.
I still have a lot of details to iron out and much work to do in order to pull this off, but the challenge is well worth it for such a great opportunity. If you can’t make it to opening night, there will be plenty of time to visit the exhibition as it will run through the end of October.
