This past week in Maine was beyond words. 🥹

We hosted our 10th Camp Roam | Photography Retreats + Community retreat and I truly can’t even put into words how amazing it was. It’s truly surreal that we’re at number 10. I remember when Camp Roam was a baby and ARIZONA | SEDONA & FLAGSTAFF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER and I had no clue what we were doing, but all we knew was we were building something that was worth it. Somehow, Adventure Elopement Hair & Makeup Artist | Meaghan has stuck around the whole time too, and it’s seriously so special getting to do this with my best friends.

Now, almost 6 years later, the community we have built is unmatched. 🥹

We left Maine feeling so full and so excited for what the future brings for Camp Roam. 🎉

We’re deep in our 10th Camp Roam | Photography Retreats + Community retreat in Maine currently and all I can say is I’m so incredibly grateful for this community we have built from the ground up. 🥹

Community in the wedding photography world is something that so many of us find to be difficult and being able to cultivate something so intentional has been incredibly special. 🥹

Pure joy. Pure love. That’s really all this is.

Caedmon planned the whole thing out on Bald Head Island, and Raquel had absolutely no idea it was coming. Watching someone’s face in the exact second their whole life changes never gets old to me.

Getting to be there for moments like this, the ones that are still so new and so real, is genuinely one of my favorite parts of this job. 🥹
