The Great Horned Owl is an incredible parent. The mother is fiercely protective, quietly watching over her owlets while the father usually hunts nearby and brings food back to the nest.

This Earth Day: Save the Rainforest, Save the Future

Rainforests like the Amazon are essential to life on Earth. They absorb carbon, produce oxygen, and are home to more than half of the world’s species—from dazzling macaws to tiny, vibrant poison frogs.

I was fortunate to have visited the Amazon recently and experience the incredible beauty of the rainforest and its indigenous culture.

But these ecosystems are vanishing. Deforestation threatens not just wildlife, but our climate, water, and the communities who protect these forests.

Protecting rainforests means protecting our future. Support sustainable choices, amplify indigenous voices, and stand up for the wild beauty that sustains us all.

This Earth Day, let’s act—for the rainforest, for the planet, for each other.
