What really happens during a newborn session?

Lots of snuggles, a little patience, feeding breaks, and some of the sweetest moments you'll ever want to remember.

There's no rush and no expectation that your baby will sleep the entire time. We follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and make plenty of time for those beautiful family moments, too.

Because newborn photography isn't just about capturing how tiny they are. It's about remembering what these first days together felt like.

We all have to start somewhere.

Facebook reminded me that 17 years ago today, I was advertising $50 photo shoots…INCLUDING an 8×10 print. 😂

I could look at this now and cringe — or I can look at it and be really freaking proud that I took the leap.

I didn’t have it all figured out. I didn’t know where this little photography business would take me. I just started.

17 years later, I’m still here. Still learning, still growing, and incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted me along the way.

So if there’s something you’ve been thinking about doing but you’re waiting until you’re “ready”… this is your reminder that we all have to start somewhere. Take the leap.

(But maybe charge more than $50. 😂)
