POV : you take family photos in your backyard

Sometimes the most meaningful location is the one your kids already know by heart, their yard.

Kinda kicking myself for not offering these sooner. They have become my absolute favorite.

I think it comes from the love I have for my own childhood summers. Some of my favorite memories happened right outside my front door. Slip and slides, rock music coming from our garage, and neighbor kids filling the cul-de-sac with kickball games that seemed to last all day.

When I look back, those are the moments I wish I could step into again.

I wanted to capture that feeling for my clients and their kids.

These might not be the photos that end up as the giant framed portrait above the fireplace (although they absolutely could be), but they’re the photos that belong in the family album. The ones your children will flip through years from now, showing them to their partner or their own kids.

Whether it’s just twirling your kids around, tickle fights, or running through the yard.. those are the memories I want to preserve.
