October is normally my busiest month of the year and this year is no different - when the month is over I will have photographed 27 sessions 🤯

With that being said, my social media posts have been slacking!! Fingers crossed that I can catch up soon and show some of the BEAUTIFUL sessions that I have photographed this month! 🤞

If you’re still wanting to get on my calendar for 2026, there is still time!! I have a handful of weekday evenings available in November but otherwise I am fully booked! 📸

In the mean time, here’s a few of my own family photos I had taken this month! My husband is the best and is so supportive of my passions and holds down the fort during extremely busy seasons like this and I couldn’t be more grateful!

You’ve likely heard the phrase “community over competition,” and I’m a firm believer in building community with other photographers rather than trying to compete with them.

Meet my friend Alicia, the photographer behind Alicia Sullivan Photography! I’ve known Alicia for years and have loved the friendship we’ve built around our shared love of photography.

The last two Monday evenings, we’ve spent time together taking photos and getting to be the ones on the other side of the camera with our own families. It’s such a delight to have a fellow photographer who shares the same values and has so much talent.

I’m so thankful for this friendship and for the reminder that there’s more than enough photography to go around!

Only a few short weeks before they become a family of four. 💙

I am so behind on posting my sessions on social media (we’ll get caught up after October ends 🤣😅🫣) but I had to share a few of my favorite sneak peeks from Chelsea’s maternity shoot this past weekend.

I have been loving all of my sessions this fall and I still have so many beautiful families still to photograph! If you have been putting off scheduling your family photos for this fall, I only have a few November weekday options, and TWO mini session spots left and I will be fully booked for 2026!

I’m not sure how I never posted any photos from the first part of Mikalah’s senior session so here’s a few photos from her summer session! Bramble's Edge Farm is one of my favorite summertime locations and one of their new chickens made an appearance during Mikalah’s session 🤣

As we get further into fall, availability is getting EXTREMELY limited!! If you have been hesitant to book a session, NOW is the time to be getting your session scheduled!

I have ONE October date left for booking, and a handful of November dates - these are for all regular length sessions (seniors, individual portraits, couples, family, newborns) and are only weekday dates! Message me to snag one of these last sessions!

If a mini is more your style, I have TWO mini session spots for my Outdoor Christmas on November 8th and ONE spot for the Christmas Greenhouse on November 14th!

A new hair color called for new branding photos and I figured a reintroduction is in order!

I’m Alicia 👋

I photograph everything from seniors to family sessions to couples in love. I also dabble in elopements, small weddings, and newborn sessions! 📸

When I’m not spending time at sessions, you can find me chasing after the sweetest two year old little boy with an energy drink in hand and my husband by my side!

If you’ve been putting off booking a session for whatever reason, take this as your sign to book the dang session! You’ll never regret having the memories photographed for you to remember for the years to come!

Three years ago, I took a trip to Kansas City to photograph my best friend and her family, and it is one of my favorite trips because I got to tell her I was pregnant with my little guy while we were there.

We had planned on using this location for those photos but we weren’t aware that they shut down the woods for an organized hunt every fall and surprise surprise, we picked that weekend for our session. 🤦‍♀️

Three years later, we FINALLY got to use this spot and my gosh, it did not disappoint!! The stunning light, the pretty trees, and four people that love each other so much, what more could I ask for?! 🥰

If you have put off booking family photos and you want some for the fall, now is the time to book!! I have a couple of mini session spots left and limited dates available for regular length sessions for the rest of 2026! 📸

It’s finally feeling like fall just in time for a four session weekend 🙌🙌

The perfect photo set to post for a beautiful fall day, unfortunately for Brooklyn it was NOT fall weather while she was wearing jeans and a sweater in the zinnia field. 🥵 She was a champ and the photos are still stunning!

I have only a handful of October dates left for sessions (this includes seniors, family, and couple sessions) and I have room for some more during the week in November!

Get those inquiries in before it too late to get your session date set! 📸
