The night before our session, I was driving down some dirt roads and found this magical spot - how stunning are these photos of Maddie?! 😍 I was so glad that Maddie was down to use this location and it fit the vibe she was going for perfectly! 🤍

Over four years of having blonde hair, decided it was time to go back to the dark side 😏

I’ve been asked this question a few times lately, so I wanted to make a little post about photos being shared on social media. 🤍

When you book with me, my questionnaire (specifically for mini sessions and family sessions) gives you several options for what you are and aren’t comfortable with me sharing.

Totally okay with anything being posted? Awesome! Only comfortable with photos of the adults being posted? Sweet! Okay with your kids being posted, but only from behind or without their faces showing? Beautiful! Don’t want any photos from your session shared at all? I am more than happy to accommodate that!

There is absolutely ZERO pressure to let me share your images. I will always respect whatever you choose, and I never want anyone to feel like they are hurting my feelings for not wanting their session shared!

And honestly, I completely understand the hesitation. I personally stopped sharing my son’s face on social media after he turned one, so I totally get wanting to keep your little ones more private online.

Your photos are yours, and your comfort matters to me. 🤍

If you’ve put off booking a session because you didn’t want them shared on social media, take this as your sign to book the session! This season of life passes by so quickly and you’ll want to have photos to remember this time! 🫶

I love a good ring shot 😍

One of my favorite photos from my own engagement session was a photo of my ring so I always love getting some photos of the ring during our session.

Five years in a row that I’ve been nominated for Best Photographer in the “Best of Wichita” awards. 🥹 I’m humbled and grateful that anyone would even consider nominating me among photographers that I admire and think are truly talented, creative and deserving people.

It’s not a surprise to those that follow me that I’ve found myself falling more and more in love with the photographs I’m creating—and even more grateful for the people who trust me to capture their stories. Every session, every gallery, every little in-between moment reminds me why I picked up a camera all those years ago.

We had a warm and overcast summer evening a couple of weeks ago for the Stanberry’s session, but my goodness did the photos turn out beautifully. This was my first time using Bloominglass Farms and it was a beautiful location to use!
