Dear Media By Shairi Family,

After years of hard work, dedication, late nights, assignments, and balancing my education with building my business, I am officially entering the final stretch of my journey at Southern New Hampshire University! 🥹🎓💙

With that being said, I want to give my amazing clients a little advance notice:

📢 MEDIA BY SHAIRI WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR NEW ORDERS

November 2, 2026 – December 7, 2026

During this time, I will not be accepting new graphic design, photography, or custom orders as I dedicate this time to preparing for and celebrating my graduation from SNHU, where I will be earning my:

🎓 Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing

This is an incredibly special milestone for me, and I want to give myself the opportunity to fully embrace this accomplishment after years of working toward it. ❤️

I am incredibly grateful to every client who has trusted Media By Shairi with your businesses, celebrations, events, memories, and creative ideas. Your support has allowed me to grow not only as a designer and photographer, but also as an entrepreneur.

I promise this isn't goodbye—just a short pause while I celebrate a very important milestone. 🥹💙

📅 Orders will resume beginning December 8, 2026.

This wasn’t just a birthday celebration… this was a whole EXPERIENCE! 💚✨

From the stunning mint-green sparkle dress and that show-stopping bow detail to the gorgeous glam, beautiful family, and the people who came together to celebrate her — every moment was giving elegance, love, laughter, and LIFE! 💚🥂

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing this beautiful 38th birthday celebration, and I loved that this wasn’t just about getting posed portraits. It was about capturing the energy of the room — the hugs, the smiles, the family photos, the friendships, the laughter, the champagne toasts, and all those little moments that made the night special.

To my amazing clients, supporters, family, and friends,

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to make as a small business owner.

I’m currently dealing with an unexpected external hard drive failure involving one of my WD Elements drives. Unfortunately, the drive is currently causing my computer to freeze whenever I attempt to access it, and I am unable to retrieve the files normally.

This situation is especially heartbreaking because this drive contains important personal, business files and client-related work. I know how much trust you place in me when you allow me to capture your special moments or create designs for your businesses, and the thought of anything happening to those files is incredibly upsetting. 💔

I have been carefully troubleshooting the issue and have already taken several precautions to protect the information on the drive. I have not formatted, erased, initialized, or intentionally altered the drive, because my priority is recovering the files safely.

I have also ordered a new cable, updated the necessary drivers, and performed several diagnostic checks. Unfortunately, the issue is still occurring. At this point, I am looking into professional data recovery options to determine what can be safely recovered.

If you recently had a session with me and are waiting on your edited gallery, please know that I have not forgotten about you. Your memories matter to me, and I am doing everything I can to make sure your images are recovered and preserved.

🎨 To My Graphic Design Clients

If you have an active or recently completed design project with me, I am also reviewing my available working files, cloud storage, and backups to determine what is safely accessible.

I sincerely apologize for any delays this unexpected situation may cause. As a small business owner, I pour so much of myself into Media By Shairi, and situations like this are incredibly difficult—not just professionally, but emotionally.

I am asking for your patience, understanding, and prayers/good thoughts while I work through this. 🙏🏽

I promise I am not ignoring messages or putting anyone's project aside intentionally. I am actively working toward a solution and will communicate with clients individually as I have updates regarding their specific projects.
