How Early Should You Book Your Wedding Photographer?
The short answer? As soon as you have your venue and wedding date! Here’s why booking early makes all the difference:

1. The earlier, the better!
Experienced wedding photographers often book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall wedding dates. Booking early ensures your date is reserved before someone else does.
2. We recommend booking at least 8–12 months before your wedding.
This gives you the best chance of securing your favorite photographer and leaves plenty of time to plan engagement photos, bridal portraits, your wedding timeline, and all the little details together.
3. Waiting too long can add unnecessary stress.
When photographers are already booked, couples often have to settle for someone they don’t know as well or spend extra time searching for availability. Booking early gives you one less thing to worry about during wedding planning!
4. Your photographer is with you for almost your entire wedding day.
More than just taking beautiful photos, we’re there to help keep your timeline on track, guide you through portraits, and capture the moments you’ll cherish forever. Choosing the right photographer, and booking them early, is one of the best investments you can make.

Remember our BIG giveaway?! 🤩 Well... meet our winners!

Stephanie & Carter were an absolute joy to photograph, and we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple. We know we say this all the time, but we truly feel so blessed to work with the kindest people.

They have the most contagious smiles, and from the moment we met them, they made us feel like we’d known them forever. Their love story is especially meaningful to us because they’re high school sweethearts. If you know Larry and me, you know why that has a special place in our hearts. 🥹🤍

One of our favorite parts of every session is setting our couples up and then simply stepping back for a moment. Those small in between moments are often the most beautiful.

Kyndall & Zane’s love is so genuine, and they are truly two of the sweetest people! Being around them just feels easy. They’re so naturally in love that we hardly had to give any direction. Every moment unfolded naturally and I found myself just watching in awe because their connection was so dreamy.

We are counting down the days until their wedding! If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be filled with so many beautiful, heartfelt moments, and we can’t wait to capture every one of them!
