Sadie smiled for basically the entire session, SERIOUSLY!!!🧡

Not the fake-hold-it kind either, the real thing, over and over, shot after shot.

At one point I asked if her smile muscles were getting tired and she laughed and said "maybe just a little." Which honestly says everything about her....this girl is just... genuinely happy, and it shows in every single frame!

When your senior session turns into a game of “How fast can the photographer move out of the way?”

Alex took his swing, and let’s just say I suddenly became VERY aware of exactly where that golf ball was headed.

Thankfully, I survived, and nobody was injured in the making of this photo.😉

And yes… this is a composite.
A composite is when multiple photos or elements are combined in Photoshop to create one final image. In this case, we took the photos from Alex’s session and combined them to create this fun golf shot.

So no, Alex didn’t actually hit a giant golf ball straight at me… Although for a second, I wasn't entirely sure. 😂📸

Liza, you were an absolute joy to photograph... easygoing, quick to laugh, and just so genuinely YOU in front of the camera. From leaning on the fence rail with the lake glowing gold behind you to laughing in that field of wildflowers, every single frame felt effortless.

Waukesha North senior, certified sweetheart, said yes to literally every weird spot I dragged him to for a shot. Kind, easygoing, low-key hilarious... the whole package.

And the best part? This session was on his actual birthday. Wildest way to spend it if you ask me, but he made it look easy.

Some seniors come in with a Pinterest board... Hailey came with a tuba full of roses and I was SO here for it 🎺🌸

Filling the bell with baby's breath and peach roses was her idea from the start, and honestly? Genius. It's her, it's her music, it's every year of hauling that thing to marching band practice... all wrapped up in one gorgeous senior portrait.

She was an absolute joy to photograph too... easygoing, laid back, just went with the flow and trusted the process while we made her vision happen.
I love when seniors bring their instruments, their sports gear... or just something meaningful to them! The best portraits aren't just pretty... they're personal🩷

I was just looking back on this session from the spring...

I've been so fortunate to have multiple followers reach out during modeling sessions! This Mother and Daughter styled Cottagecore, was one I was SUPER excited for... and it turned out STUNNING 😍

It means the world to me, as I grow, to create moments like this for families. Not only do they have beautiful images to hold onto forever, but all the fun memories that go along with it!

What actually matters to you when picking a senior photographer... the vibe, the experience, or just nailing "the shot"?

Because with Sammi, we got all three! This golden hour moment at the end of her session wasn't posed to death, it just happened. Windy field, that sky doing its thing, and her just being herself for two seconds🧡

Some of my favorite family photos aren't the ones where everyone is looking perfectly at the camera...they're the ones where you can actually feel the love.

Watching these three together was such a reminder that the little moments are the big moments. The way Mom instinctively reaches for her daughter. The way Dad looks at both of them with so much pride. The giggles, the cuddles, the tiny hands reaching for theirs... that's the stuff they'll want to remember years from now!

A one year old doesn't care if your hair is perfect or if your outfit gets a little dirty. She just knows she's safe in her parents' arms, surrounded by unconditional love. And that kind of connection is impossible to fake. It's also a beautiful reminder that one of the greatest gifts parents can give their children is to love each other well. When a child grows up seeing kindness, laughter, affection, and respect between Mom and Dad, they're surrounded by the kind of love that shapes a lifetime.

Thank you for trusting me to capture this beautiful season of your lives. One day, your daughter will look back at these images and see something even bigger than smiles. She'll see just how deeply she was loved from the very beginning. 🤍
