A lot of people talk themselves out of doing photos with their dog before they even start.

Usually because of things like:

– “My dog won’t sit still”
– “They’re too distracted”
– “They have to be off leash”
– “I don’t have the right location”
– “I wouldn’t even know what to do”

The truth is… none of those things are dealbreakers.

Sessions are designed to work with your dog — not against them. There’s guidance the whole way through, and we adjust based on what your dog needs.

I’ve noticed over time that the people I work with genuinely enjoy being with their dog — their dogs are family.

They also care about their space and what they put on their walls. They’re not looking for a quick set of images to scroll through once and forget. They want something that lasts a little longer than that.

And they appreciate working with someone who understands dogs — how they think, how they move, and how to bring out those natural moments without forcing anything.

Most people assume dog photography is about getting a dog to sit still and look at the camera.

It’s not.

What I’m actually paying attention to is completely different.
‣ How your dog moves.
‣ What catches their attention.
‣ When they settle.
‣ When they’re curious.
‣ When they’re themselves.

I’ll guide things along the way, but I’m not trying to force your dog into something unnatural.

That’s why these sessions feel more like a fun adventure with your dog, and not a checklist of poses.

And it’s also why the images end up feeling real — not staged.
