A little look back at a spring day that felt like such a breath of fresh air. 🧡

If you’re a creative, you know how easy it is to pour so much of yourself into your work that you forget to pause and refill your own cup.

This retreat was created as a space to do just that, to slow down, connect, breathe a little deeper, and find that inner spark that sets our souls on fire.
We gathered around tables, shared stories, created with our hands, fueled our hearts with herbal infusions, and made space for inspiration to find us again.

It was a reminder that creativity doesn’t always come from doing more.
Sometimes, it comes from simply being.
So grateful for the beautiful souls who spent this day with me, and for the little spark that we all carried home. ✨

There’s something about the end of summer that makes me want to hold onto everything a little tighter.

The sandy toes. The salty hair. Bare feet running toward the water. Long evenings that somehow never feel long enough.
These are the moments I know I’ll miss someday, the ordinary summer days that quietly become the memories we carry forever.

So here’s to soaking up these last little pieces of summer… before they become nostalgia. ☀️

Before I get swept away in another busy season, I just want to pause.

Somewhere over the last year, something quietly changed.

We spend so much time talking about how quickly our children grow, but we forget that we’re growing right alongside them.

When I first became a mom, I thought motherhood looked like matching outfits, perfectly planned crafts, homemade dinners, and a clean house.

Now I know better.

My girls won’t remember whether the house was spotless. They’ll remember that I was there. They’ll remember hearing, “I love you to the moon and back.” They’ll remember spontaneous adventures, dance parties in the living room, bedtime snuggles, and feeling deeply seen.

Motherhood has taught me that presence will always outlive perfection.
And without realizing it, it changed the way I hold my camera.

I used to chase perfectly curated photographs. Now I find myself chasing the moments that can’t be recreated, the tiny hand reaching for yours, birthday candles being blown out, flour-covered counters, messy kitchens, tears, laughter, and the beautifully ordinary moments that one day become everything.

Because someday our children won’t fit on our hips.

They won’t ask us to watch one more dance.

And all we’ll have are the memories.

I don’t just want to remember what my girls looked like.
I want to remember what it felt like to be their safe place.

That’s why, beginning in January 2027, I’ll be offering documentary sessions, because the photographs you’ll treasure most aren’t the perfect ones.

They’re the ones that take you back to how it all felt. 🤍

Family is not measured
by holidays or shared names alone.
It is found in the quiet moments,
the phone call that comes without asking,
the porch light left on,
the seat saved at the table.

It is showing up,
again and again,
not because it’s convenient,
but because love never keeps score.
It is the shoulder
that catches your tears
before they ever reach the ground.
The voice that says,
“You’re not carrying this alone.”

Family celebrates your joy
as if it were their own,
cheering louder than anyone else,
finding pride in your victories,
hope in your dreams,
and light in your becoming.

It is the village
that gathers when life feels heavy,
each hand lifting a corner,
each heart making the burden lighter.
It is someone who thinks of you
on ordinary Tuesdays,
who remembers the little things,
who checks in just because,
who loves without condition
and stays without hesitation.

Because in the end,
