What a stunning evening at Kohler Andrae State Park!

Hannah says,

"Guapo has more personality than any dog I think I've ever owned! He loves to serenade us both early in the morning as soon as he hears us wake up or as we come home from anywhere. He then greets us with whatever treasure he can find around the house (usually a toy or sock) and gently gives it to us. He adores cuddles and playing with other active dogs! He is only a year old but a very old soul already! He grew up around our Shelties and our Maine C**n cat so he is very quiet, calm, and cat-like.

Emmett is the champion cuddler and bark patrol of our home. No matter what we're doing, he's telling us about it and making sure we know he's there! He loves to follow us around and oversee whatever task we're completing. No matter who comes into our home, he's greeting them with cuddles and smiles! He is our oldest dog and loves to nap most of the time. He usually sleeps so soundly that he just rolls right off the couch, bed, dog beds, etc!

Clyde was one of my first dogs and one of my first Shelties! As a child, I showed my rescue hound Ollie, who was my very first dog of my own, in 4-H. (He is now 10-years-old and retired on my parents hobby farm) One of my trainers in 4-H, (and a local Sheltie breeder) Katy Lancour, took me under her wing, became my mentor and let me show her Shelties. She gave me my first Sheltie, Cove, and I quickly fell in love with the breed! I was able to be there for the breeding, birth and every moment after.

Unfortunately, Cove was hit by a car at the age of 2... I was heartbroken and felt so much guilt! I thought I'd never get another dog again. The following year, I met another litter of Katy's and one of the puppies looked EXACTLY like Cove did! We named him Clyde (Skyrunner Kyrie the Stars Collide) and she gave him to me once he was weaned. He is truly my heart dog and a huge blessing from the Lord after the loss of Cove! Since I got Clyde almost 4 years ago, he has joined me in the adventures of moving 6 times, getting my first boyfriend, getting engaged and married, joining us on our honeymoon, buying our first home and getting many more pets. I am so excited for every journey we have together after! :)"

What a heavenly scene! Virginia says,

"Bert loves to steal dirty towels from the kitchen and sleep on the bathtub when mom is at work! Mae will rub on people she likes like a cat and crosses her paws like a little lady. Bert will always check on his big sister and give her nuzzles and ear kisses when he senses she is anxious. When Bert was kennel training, mae would check on him every night and lay by his kennel when he would cry at night. She even would stick her head under the blanket covering his kennel! I had to put up baby gates to stop her from interrupting his bedtime routine."
