Before the dancing. Before the toasts. Before any of it. The room looked like this. 🤍

Lavender florals and candlelight. Table numbers that showed the two of them at different ages. A two-tier cake with fresh lavender. Ch*****ne flutes with intertwined silver hearts. A sweetheart table buried in flowers that took your breath away the moment you walked in.

The details from a wedding morning are the ones that set the tone for everything that follows. The invitation suite that couples spend months choosing. The florals that fill the room with color before anyone walks in. The rings sitting quietly before the ceremony makes them mean something entirely new.

Six frames. One complete day.

The smile on her face when her bridesmaids turned around and saw her for the first time. Her dad walked her across that field and never once looked at the camera. He was too busy trying to hold it together. The ceremony under an open sky with everyone they love looking on. The dip kiss in the middle of the lawn that she celebrated with her bouquet raised like she had been waiting to do that her whole life.

This is why I show up to every wedding the same way. Fully present and ready for all of it.
