A few things you won’t catch me doing on your wedding day.
Of course I want to make beautiful photos. I love a good portrait, and all the little details you put so much thought into. But I also want you to actually enjoy the wedding you spent so much time planning. I’ll step in when you need a little direction, but otherwise, I’m happy to let things happen as they happen.
At the end of the day, I want you to have the best time at your own wedding. I want you on the dance floor, hanging out with your favorite people, and soaking it all in. You shouldn’t have to choose between being present and having great photos.
That’s kind of the whole point, right?
Thanks to 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞 & 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 for the portrait of me at work!

Your dress deserves better than a branch and a prayer. We’ll find somewhere beautiful that makes sense!
No fake moments or forced laughs. The real stuff is always better.
You planned a whole wedding, not a photoshoot. We’ll make time for portraits but I’m getting you back to the party.
The moment happened, we move on. My job is to anticipate the good stuff, not ask you to recreate it for the camera.
You don’t need to know what to do with your hands! Just be yourselves and I’ll take it from there
Windblown hair? A little rain! We’ll roll with it. Your wedding day is a real day and does not need to be perfectly curated. And for the love of god we don’t need to fluff the train between every shot!
