Winter at Elegante Performance Horses

I don’t usually share personal writing here — this page is mostly about photography, places, and quiet moments.

But over the past year, people have been finding me through my photography while searching for answers about a Hyundai engine failure. Enough messages came in that it felt important to put the full story somewhere clear and permanent.

So I wrote a blog about what happened when my Hyundai engine failed at 61,000 miles, and what followed — the denial, the research, the documentation, the NHTSA process, and the months it took to reach resolution. Not as legal advice. Not to tell anyone what to do. Just to document the experience and share.

I’m sharing it here because this page is how many of you found me in the first place. If you’re in the middle of something similar, I hope it helps you feel less alone — or helps you know where to look next.
