Finalized some details for a session this summer with a family who will be on vacation there and just was reminiscing about this session I got to do last year with my besties and their big beautiful families.

This year I got to take photos for two students I had in 9th grade as they graduate college this year.

This is Cece. A journalism major, a dystopian enthusiast, a writer in every sense of the word, and an absolute powerhouse.

As a freshman in high school she was funny, smart, sarcastic AF, and wise beyond her years.

We’re not supposed to have favorites… but we did.

Something ridiculous would happen and she was essentially a third teacher sharing an eye roll with the staff, which would only make us crack up more.

Proud doesn’t really scratch the surface of what I feel when I see former students using their voices as a force for good in this world.

It’s been a privilege to know her as an adult, and to see how her writing, understanding of the world and politics around her have grown, shifted, changed and sharpened. She’s even more of a force now than she was then.

Taking these pictures and editing them has made me cry, burst with pride, and smile a big dumb smile to myself because she is gonna keep kicking ass and making the world better and I get to be a cheerleader on the side. Congratulations you rockstar, this is one chapter of many awesome things to come. 🤩👏🏼😭

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY- sign up link in bio

🌼A mix of cuddly candids, some artistic imagery like hand holding or close cropped faces, a few “JC Penney” style smiling at the camera, mixed grouping like solos of your little ones or just you or just Grandma with them.

🌼Plan to wear neutrals, and avoid patterns. Texture is totally fine, like tool or Pom Poms, but certain colors and patterns would clash with our set which has a lot of blue and white, and spotlights this gingham couch.

🌼You can go formal or casual, comfortable is best and happy kids in outfits that clash are always better than grumpy ones in outfits that match.

A few shots from another protest in beautiful Providence, Rhode Island. This is a business page, and a photography page, but art is political and so am I.

I benefit from an abundance of privilege simply because of my identity and positional power in the United States, and I’ve been in an apprenticeship with understanding how to wield it for the better part of my adult life, the least that I can do is speak up and stand up.

Take gentle care of yourselves so we can keep showing up for our neighbors, friends, family members, co-workers, community members and anyone in between. 💕

Re-introducing myself for the 2026 season!

First, thank you for being here. I met so many new people last year and am already booking up for this year, and that continues to be WILD to me.

I’m a Rhode Island based photographer who loves to travel, work with families, individuals, couples and businesses.

We’ll get along if you value: authenticity, genuine connection, candids leaning toward documentary style, a casual and calm experience, play based sessions, and chatting with a stranger who is determined to be your friend!

I’m quick to share personal stories, be your hype woman, show you what I’ve captured so far, and give you pointers if I notice something that could help you look and feel your best.

Consent is incredibly important to me- so I keep a lot of sessions offline. I work with a lot of families and LGBTQIA+ folks, and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable and protected before, during and after the session means more to me than growing my follower count.

That said, if you’re interested in seeing an example gallery for the type of session you’re booking, I am happy to share that way.

Finally, my beautiful friend and mentor took these branding photos for me in November and I’ve been committing the ultimate crime of just sitting on them so get ready to see this mug.

I want these in a museum. 🧚🏽

Been deep into editing so many great sessions from the fall, but wanted to share some of this gallery from earlier this summer.

Stephanie wanted to honor and celebrate turning 25 with a solo session. Our goals were to highlight the beauty of her natural curls, show her empowered, confident, and ready for what the second half of her 20s has for her.

My own late twenties were filled with the very things that shifted, tore down, and rebuilt the sense of self I have today, and I wish all the women I know, myself included, had the foresight to mark these periods of growth the way Stephanie did.

Stephanie, my decade younger role model- thank you for letting me take these, it continues to be one of my favorite sessions of all time.

This morning I got up with the sun to take some pictures of a very sweet ten month old and her family and I was telling them about this session in Prague this past summer.

I hadn’t been on the other side of the camera since diving into this full time and wanted to experience it, so we booked a sunrise session in truly the most gorgeous city I’ve ever been to with

I hadn’t slept well the night before and didn’t feel my best, my hairdryer exploded, and I showed up dreading it a little if I’m being truthful- some of you have been there when we meet for a session. But, as I’ll tell you over and over, you won’t see it in the pictures if you’re being yourself and having fun.

I can’t recommend Aman and Veronika enough if you find yourself in Prague or where they are in Europe next.
