K + S got married on the last Friday of June, which was the beginning of Pride celebrations here in SF. We expected everything to be popping, but because they got married in the morning, we were still able to hit a lot of my favorite photo spots in City Hall.

I loved getting to photograph K + S because you can tell just how much love there is between them — they genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

When I think about S and N’s wedding, I think about how intentional they were. It was obvious that they’d spent so much time thinking about each and every detail for their guests, creating a magical, whimsical experience for everyone — including themselves.

What filled me with joy the most was how involved both of their families were in creating a space for the wedding. Everything was held at N’s parents’ house, and they completely transformed the backyard into a beautiful space ready for dancing, toasting, and getting married. 💖

All the guests were a joy, and S and N were so sweet! They really took the time to spend time with their guests and thank everyone for being there. It can be so hard to do that at a wedding, but they made sure to prioritize spending time with their guests and enjoying the chance to have all of their friends and family together. They ended the evening exactly how it should be: dancing the night away!

C and I knew each other in high school, so I was thrilled when she reached out to me about wedding photography services!

During our consult, she shared how she felt a little uncomfortable and stressed out by their engagement session photographer. C mentioned that this particular photographer was specific in wanting a sunset session and didn’t allow their dog to be a part of the e-session. They didn’t guide them through poses, or share photos on the back of the camera.

After talking to me during our consult, she shared that she instantly felt more comfortable and reassured by me.

I’m so glad that I was able to serve her for both her engagement session and wedding 💖 It’s so important to vibe with your photographer, as we are one of the few vendors that will be with you for the whole day!

One of the most important South Indian wedding traditions is the Oonjal ceremony, or swing ceremony. The swing represents the strength the couple will find in each other in rocky seasons.

Family members gently rock the swing, and there’s music and blessings. It was so special to witness this beautiful tradition!
