Have you been by the Online Store yet?

It’s where I curate some of the best aviation photographs I’ve taken.

And I’m trying something out….

All photos there are free to download. Go check them out. See one you like? Scoop up a digital copy. There’s some pretty sick ones that would make great lock screens 🤘

If you like what you see and want to put one up on your wall, there’s a variety of print options available 🖼️

A quick photo story:

I like things with engines. Cars. Motorcycles. Aircraft.

Let’s focus in on the aircraft.

When I’m not working behind a camera, I’ either maintaining or flying planes.

Being in San Diego, there’s a bunch of airports around. So I’ll go plane spotting with a camera.

I like to look for interesting spots where I can get a unique angle.

A lot of photos I take around San Diego International are from near Balboa Park. It’s right under the flight path. The planes are low.

I can get some cool wide angle stuff without making the planes look tiny.

It’s always fun to see some of the different liveries and paint schemes airlines are putting on planes.

Most of the time, you don’t see them unless you’re at the airport. Photo walks change that up for me.

A selection of the photographs I’ve made from several trips around San Diego are in a gallery in my Online Store.

It’s a print only shop for those who also love aviation.

Head on over to the link in my bio to check ‘em out.

Flying is dope, and it makes for awesome photography.

If you’re big time into aviation the way I am, check out my Online Store. There’s some military aircraft, big jets, and even some airports at sunrise and sunset.

See one you like?

You can grab a print for your home, office, or even your hangar.

On the flip side, if you’re a pilot and want to get something a little more personal I offer custom photo sessions.

You do cool stuff. You should have cool photos.

Why get your picture taken if everyone has a camera on their phone?

1. You don’t want a snapshot of something big.
2. You don’t want your photos getting lost on social media or in your camera roll.
3. You want the option to get a print on high quality photo paper.

My approach is based on people. Two people may book a photo session, and walk away with completely different looking pictures.

They’ll still love the result though, because the whole experience is in part me getting to know you, then building a session from there.

Every now and then I’ll do a spec session. It’s an opportunity to try different things. This is a photo from a recent spec session.

What was the goal?

A film session with off camera flash, testing new equipment, and showing a power couple.

We nailed it, and had a good time in the process.

You book a photo session. How do your photos get delivered?

Through a digital gallery where you can download individuals or all at once. The cool part, it can be sent by email or text. Just let me know which you prefer!

A good spot, good light, and a roll of film. Only one thing left to do:

Have someone to take photos for!

Why choose film when digital is objectively better?

Because you get 4x6 prints and the negatives with the digital images.

Here’s why: I remember looking through old photos as a kid (sometimes kept in an old shoebox). There were hundreds.

It was awesome to go through them, flipping through and seeing pictures of my parents as kids, or their wedding, or of my brother, sisters, and me as young kids.

It’s having the pictures without the distraction of everything else on a phone screen.
