Our spring break is almost over and I’m not okay. Am I the only one that has a hard time getting back to reality after taking a few days off? I honestly could’ve stayed on this piece of farmland forever. Have you ever read the children’s book, “Johnny Tractor Saves the Parade”? This land felt like we were a part of that storybook. Not pictured - the barn, the garden, the trampoline a quarter of a mile away that they raced back and forth from, the front porch swing, the fire pit we roasted marshmallows by, the tractors and farmers we waved to as they climbed the hill out front, the caverns we enjoyed visiting, and so much more. It was like taking a step back in time. The boys ran and played and ran and played. But I also noticed how much they were happy just sitting in the lush grass. It was too good. We will definitely visit the Shenandoah area again. 🤍

Today feels really special to me. 🤍
I’m so excited to finally introduce Children’s Heirloom Portraits to my business!!!! I grew up in the South, in Georgia, with these types of timeless portraits hanging in my family home. They’re classic, simple, and absolutely full of meaning. They were more than just photos… they were treasures, a glimpse of childhood frozen in time.

I can’t help but think how proud my mother and grandmother would be to see me offering something like this today. Truthfully, this has been on my heart since 2015, when I first dreamed of creating these portraits for my oldest baby, and then the next two. And now, it’s finally here. I’m honestly giddy!!

These sessions are all about capturing your child just as they are; pure, classic, and beautifully timeless. I want these to be portraits you’ll cherish for generations.
