I’m Chelsey Kraus, the owner of Chelsey Kraus Photography! I’m a full-service photographer, which means I help with everything from planning wardrobe for your family’s sessions, to installing the custom framing I design for you inside your home once it’s ready!

Most families hire me specifically to create tangible artwork for them with the artful images we create.

My speciality is turning your family’s favorite photos into literal museum quality art.

There are a lot of really talented photographers out there, but somehow my clients say that I’m the “best”… the truth is, my clients are the best!

My clients are loving, generous, compassionate, KIND, giving people that make the world a better place.

My clients are medical professionals, serve in the military, work in Human Resources, first responders, even some some stay at home moms, raising up the future generation of children who will go on to be amazing, kind, loving and generous just like their parents.

One thing that I can say about all my clients is that they are all incredible present. They are present with their partners, with their children and they are present with me when we are taking photos.

The energy that I try to bring to my clients is of presence as well. Putting aside the comparisions of the world, the busy to-do lists, the endless grocery list always running in my mind (haha please tell me I’m not alone!) because if you’re hiring ME as your full-service photographer, you are going to get MY best, and most intentional time, when we are together.

One of my favorite parts of being a full-service photographer happens after the session. 🤍

Because I don’t believe your family portraits are meant to live forever on your phone, in the cloud, or buried on a hard drive.

I want you to see your people every single day.

I want you to walk past a framed portrait and remember how little they were. What this season of life felt like. The people you love most, exactly as they were.

And I want your children to grow up surrounded by photographs of the people who loved them most.

So after your session, we sit down together to choose your favorites, and I design framed portraits that make sense for your family and your home.

And then?

I come hang them for you. 🥰

(And yes, the frames and albums my clients invest in are handmade right here in the USA. 🇺🇸💪🏼)

Because the goal was never just to take beautiful photographs and send you a link to an online gallery.

The goal is to turn fleeting moments into family memories you get to enjoy every single day.
