Some moments are bigger than a concert.
I want to sincerely thank Tiffany Crutcher, the Terence Crutcher Foundation, and the entire Black Wall Street Legacy Fest team for the opportunity to document such an incredible event.
This experience was especially meaningful because my son, CJ Young Jr., was able to stand beside me and photograph one of our favorite artists, Fantasia. As a young photographer building his own path behind the camera, he even had one of his images shared by Fantasia’s team—an unforgettable moment that continues to inspire him.
From the powerful performance to the unforgettable connection with the audience, Fantasia reminded everyone why her voice, passion, and authenticity continue to resonate with people around the world.
But one of the most memorable moments of the night came when a young girl was invited to share the stage. Watching her live out a dream in front of thousands and seeing the pride and emotion on her father’s face reminded us that Legacy Fest is about more than entertainment. It’s about inspiration, opportunity, community, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
