GUESS WHOSE WEDDING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER….?

Well actually quite a few. Hahaha.

But Jacob & Shae are officially one of them. 🤍

I genuinely cannot believe it’s already been almost a year since we wandered around downtown together for their engagement session.

Wind everywhere. Champagne sprayed across the rooftop. A dress fighting for its life half the session. And somehow in the middle of all of it, these two just felt calm together.

I still remember us all laughing after the champagne exploded way harder than any of us expected. 😂

Now somehow we’re already this close to the wedding day. Time is wild.

Congratulations, Erica.

Erica & her family hold a special place in our hearts, we’ve had the chance to create alongside them for years now.

This session was fun.

Erica popped two bottles of champagne… because she was convinced the first one wasn’t going to go as planned (honestly, fair). Hahah

Her tassel? Gone to the wind every other minute.
I think we picked it up off the ground at least 6 times thanks to the unforgiving Bowling Green wind. see, this is why I went to UT. Shhhh

And photographing on campus will never not be funny, you’re in the middle of a full-on grad shoot while people are just… studying 10 feet away like nothing’s happening.

But that’s what we love about sessions like this.

They’re not perfect. They’re not scripted.
They’re just real moments, unfolding as they are.

We also carved out a little time to capture what she’ll need for what’s next, (some professional headshots).

I know it’s easy to sometimes to forgo capturing special moments like this, but we think you should do it. Doesn’t have to be anything professional, maybe it’s just asking a friend to take some photos of you. 20 years from now you’re never going to regret it!

So we mighttttt be biased…

But we LOVE a winter wedding.

Congratulations Lola & Drew!

We loved working with these two — maybe because we shared a lot in common. Not just in their intentions for the day, but in how they live.

Big foodies, love being outside, easygoing, just here for a good time.

And they brought exactly that into their wedding day.

Intentional. Intimate. Fun. Without all the traditional pressure.

Our favorite part of the day was watching them celebrate with their people. The dance floor was vibing all night… and Lola & Drew even hopped on and DJ’d for a few songs.

So good.

Really excited for these two.

Not me hiding behind a tree to capture the moment two of my friends got engaged.

It was an honor to share this with Charlie & Olivia as he surprised her with the moment she’s always dreamed of, the ring she’s always dreamed of, from the person she’s always dreamed of.

Being there at the beginning of their relationship and now witnessing this is a reminder of how quickly life moves, but also how it all unfolds the way it’s meant to.

I’m so excited for these two… and selfishly excited to attend another friend’s wedding. Assuming they’ll have me, consider this my invite haha.

POV: you just got married in a treehouse village, hidden in your favorite park, sunlight through leaves, barefoot paths between porches.

Not a venue you bookmarked. A place that already held your stories. That’s Anna & Chris’s whole vibe.

They didn’t try to make the day look like a wedding. They made it look like them. They rented the entire village so everyone could crash, laugh, and wake up together. Friends and family told off-the-cuff stories during the ceremony, messy, honest, hilarious. Food trucks served the tacos and ice cream you crave at 2 a.m. Local beer poured from taps they’d been drinking for years. People played co****le on the lawn, wandered between cozy porches, and stayed late because nobody was rushing anyone.

No posed performances. Just joyful, messy, unforgettable life. Somewhere between the backyard songs and the silly toasts… they got married. And it felt like the easiest, most fun thing in the world.

That’s the good news: when you stop building moments and start living them, your wedding becomes a day you actually remember. It can smell like pine, sound like your people laughing, and feel like one perfect version of your everyday.

And honestly? That’s the kind of wedding that changes everything.

Just because you’re having a backyard wedding… doesn’t mean it has to feel like a “backyard wedding.”

Tyler & Alexz explored venues, but nothing felt like home. So they chose their own.

And we’re genuinely inspired by that decision.
Their day was calm, present, and intentional. Built around what mattered, not what was expected.

And at the end of it all…they simply walked inside.

Tyler & Alexz are the kind of couple we feel incredibly grateful to serve, the ones who let go of tradition when it doesn’t fit, and lean fully into what feels right for them.

We’re not here for the theatrics.

Celebrating 5 years of helping people travel the world with Katie ✈️

Not every photo session needs a reason. But celebrating five years in business feels like a pretty good one.

Katie invited us to create these images to mark the milestone, and what we love most about working with her is her consultative approach. She asks thoughtful questions and helps people design trips that actually fit their lives.

A lot of our couples have trusted her when planning their destination weddings and honeymoons, and having someone knowledgeable guiding that process makes all the difference. In many ways, it’s similar to choosing a photographer.

You want someone you trust.

Meghan & Alante’s reveal was special for a lot of reasons.

But what really moved us…
their grandparents were there.

Married for over 60 years.

The entire time we’ve worked with Meghan & Alante, they’ve been incredibly intentional. Not just about the aesthetic. Not just about the timeline. But about the people.

They’ve honored their parents.
They’ve paid homage to their grandparents.
They’ve been fully present through this entire journey.

Last year around this time, I was on a road trip when Sierra called me.

I almost didn’t answer, I rarely take consult calls from the car, but I did, and I’m really glad I did.
She shared how she and Jeremy didn’t feel like they needed a wedding. They just wanted a relaxed day to be with their people. And that’s exactly what this became.

They were married at the Manor House, an outdoor ceremony, a short walk through the gardens, and a cozy reception that felt more like gathering in a home than hosting an event.

One of my favorite surprises was Jan’s Hot Dog Cart showing up and serving hot dogs all night. Simple. Fun. So them. See the comments to see a quick video of their wedding album that we created together, every couple we work with receives heirloom album that lets them relive this day from start to finish, forever.
