🗳️ CHESTER COUNTY ELECTION-DAY FOLLOW-UP
Chester County reported machine set-up issues that briefly delayed the opening of three precincts Tuesday morning.
The Chester County Court of Common Pleas approved a 30-minute extension at:
📍 Precinct 201 — Easttown 3

🚒🚓🚑 OVERNIGHT PUBLIC-SAFETY UPDATE
No separate major overnight Chester County police, fire or EMS incident release was independently verified in time for this morning’s Daily Brief.
That does not mean our emergency crews were not active. Routine calls, developing incidents and sensitive investigations do not always appear immediately in publicly accessible reports.
IrishEyez Chesco will continue monitoring throughout the day and share significant developments separately once reliable information becomes available.

🐈🚒 RECAP — EAST BRANDYWINE FIRE COMPANY RESPONDS TO POSSIBLE CAT IN DRAINPIPE
As previously reported Tuesday evening, East Brandywine Fire Company received a call at the station concerning a cat possibly trapped inside an outdoor PVC drainpipe.
Rescue 49 and Utility 49-1 responded. Members initially heard what sounded like a cat meowing but could not get a visual.
With the homeowner’s permission, crews dug into the yard and removed a section of pipe near a 90-degree turn. Unfortunately, firefighters still could not locate the cat and no longer heard the meowing.
The opening was left accessible with cat food nearby, and the residents planned to continue monitoring the area.
⚠️ The cat was reported to have exited the pipe later in the evening and is doing well now
