Love is incredible. 💕

It can be hard to measure how much love can help us grow. When you truly love someone there is so much you would do for that other person. As per my annual Valentine’s Day date we found ourselves at one of our favorite restaurants…. It was nothing out of the ordinary, we got our dessert complementary dessert because we are on their email list and I went to take a seat at one of the many tables. A couple turned to us and said “But it’s a Valentine’s Date, you should be sitting at the white table cloth covered table!” That initiated a bit of conversation which lead them to telling us they have been married for 40 years. I can’t help but think how incredible it must be for them to say that. 40 years is a long time to be together. 40 years of hard work times, easy times, fun times, anger, happiness and love.

I truly hope all of my couples have the chance to tell someone they have been married for 40 years because that’s an incredible kind of love. ❤️

Time for all the desserts and sugars to prepare for lent! Personally I have will not be participating because I have been avoiding added sugar since Feb 1st. Last year I did this for 2 weeks, this year my goal is 1 month and it is soooooo hard!!

There are only 2 reasons I will do this.

1) To catch a flight! ✈️
2) For a photo! 📸

I am not particularly a morning person. I tend to get up around the same time every day because I read it helps you with building good habits. You need good habits, of course, to build a successful business. Needless to say getting up before the sun does is not generally my idea of fun, unless a photo shoot or a flight is involved! I love traveling so I will catch a plane anytime of day to get me to a place I have never seen!! Or if you give me the opportunity to take amazing photos at sunrise, count me in! 🙋‍♀️ Honestly, when you book me for an engagement session I often try to steer you in the direction of either a sunset or sunrise session because in the end we are both going to love the images better. 💕

Sunrise today was at 7:05AM and Sunset is at 5:30PM. Anyone want to create some magic?

The only answer is to put them in a bathtub with milk and add flowers 🌸 for a gorgeous milk bath! With that said I am kind of dying to do another one of these!!! Memory is kind of funny.

It’s so easy to take for granted, that most of us do. But memory is just such an important part of ourselves to function and yet it is designed to forget things. We cannot possibly remember every single thing that we experience. Imagine how many parking spaces you have parked in!!!! But there are other moments we want to last forever, like the feeling of your wedding kiss and the joy of that celebration! This is what my photography is about. You should have a visual representation to bring back your memories when you need them.
