Yesterday I was able to drop off an updated group photo of the Thomasville Police to Chief Dustin Carter. This year we were able to add the K9 officers in the group photo.

The framed print will hang in the police department along with group photos from years past.

Last week was photo overload for me. While attending the CORSA International Convention in Dayton, Ohio with other fellow Corvair owners, I spent over eight hours in two days at the National Museum of the USAF.

The one aircraft I've been wanting to see for close to 30 years was the furthest away from the entrance. I would later find out that it was just over a quarter mile away. That didn't stop me from seeing the marvel of engineering.

The XB-70 was way ahead of its time. Designed during the days of slide rules and not computers. Of the several photos I took of this plane the one posted here shows how it compares to its contemporaries.

In the foreground is the Bell X-1B the descendant to the famous X-1. Just in front of the nose of the plane is a YF-12A, commonly confused with the A-12 and SR-71. Peeking just behind the YF-12 is Tacit Blue, an experimental aircraft from the early 80's that wasn't declassified until the mid 90's

Late post tonight, but I wanted to share images from the grand opening of City Electric Supply in Thomasville,NC. The large images on the wall were supplied and installed by Yemm Photography. The Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce had recommended me to the new store manager. They were a great team to work with and the new showroom stands out among the other local locations.
