With the upcoming solar eclipse, now's the time to make sure you can safely view one of the most exciting astronomical events of the year. Viewing a full or partial eclipse, even for short times, without proper eyewear (not just sunglasses!) can cause damage to your eyes, Fret not! We have safe, eclipse-specific eyewear available for free so you can look to the skies safely. Just stop by the Library (while supplies last) to grab your pair!

We've been talking about good ol' Chip for SO long now! We've dressed him up, smooched him up in lots of videos, even had him parading around in a Halloween tutu! (Chip doesn't mind.....) Still, no home for Chip. This guy is such a sweetheart that literally asks for nothing except a soft bed and some people that will be kind to him.

Chip's about 10 years old and he arrived in November of last year as a stray. Sure, he's a little hearing-impaired, but he hears the dinner-bell with no problem, and he knows it's time to go for his favorite walk when he sees the leash come out! Chip is a true gentleman that's housebroken, great on a leash, so well-behaved, and just a great guy. He's good with mild-mannered dogs but does need a cat-free home. If you can't commit to adopting Chip, you could foster him for a while, so he remembers what it was like to be in a great home. It was a fantastic day in Thomasville at Everybody's Day. We had so much fun meeting lots of people but it was a great privilege having Judge April Wood Berg come by our booth and spend some time with Mickey and Donald !!!

Everybody's Day was a huge success! We at Fine Photography & Show Some Character would like to thank everyone who came out and a very special thanks to the men and women of Thomasville Police Department for making this a safe event for everyone.

Come out and join us for Everybody's Day this Saturday on W. Main St in Thomasville.
Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck will be there with us and the weather will be fantastic. So bring the kids and have their photo taken with either Mickey or Donald!
