It’s not always the case that gentlemen want to take their time with their photos, but I always encourage it if there is room in the timeline 🤍 it’s the one time of the day where you get to have shots of you showing your personality, & where everything is still freshly ironed before all the celebrating begins⚡️

Let’s talk ‘unexpected plans’, which happens often at weddings! 🤍 the best thing to do when things randomly happen, is to shrug it off ✨ Laugh at what you can’t control, and be where your feet are 🤍 spilled the espresso martini? As summer starts to wind down, and we prepare for fall weddings, keep in mind, time change! 🤍 the sun starts to set earlier & earlier, which means, if you’re having a wedding in the fall/winter, the sun is usually gone by 5:30-6pm, instead of 7-8pm 🤍 this is extra important for ceremony times & portraits, so you have as much lighting as possible for your timeline 🤍 send this to your bride bestie, or save it for later! 🤍✨

POV: You’re a couple that chose a 1st look, so you got to fully enjoy your cocktail hour 🤍💫

To have a 1st look or not, is a personal choice, & I don’t try to guide my couples to make any decisions except for what they truly desire in their hearts. I always give the pros and cons for both, and allow them to decide for themselves if they haven’t decided already 🤍 one of the best parts of having a 1st look though is being able to enjoy cocktail hour with all of your loved ones because your photos were all taken prior to ceremony.

Sooo many more good reasons, but cocktail hour is definitely near the top of the list! If you’re having a cocktail hour, you deserve to enjoy everything you planned for 🤍💫

as I’m wrapping up K+R’s beautiful day this week, I was holding off on posting these, because these are some that I didn’t include in the sneak peeks for them 🤍 as much as I want to include ALL of my faves for sneaks, I sometimes save some more of the best for when full collections arrive 🤍

These photos of Kayla were some of my faves of her & when I first saw them on camera after I took them, I gasped 🤍 as she was spinning, & the veil covered her face, it was pure art for me! She is art 🤍 how grateful I am to have couples that truly make what I do feel like a dream come true all of the time 😭🤍
