Johan Sergel’s Sculptures at Stockholm National Museum

Aama Himalayan Kitchen

Himalayan food is fantastic, but the best I’ve ever had was in Stockholm, Sweden, at Aama Himalayan Kitchen. Deluxe Suite at The Evalina Hotel

We’ve spent quite a bit of time in Portland, Maine, and out of all of the hotels we’ve enjoyed there, The Evalina Hotel has been our favorite. Imagine a spacious, modern apartment with all the convenience and service of your favorite hotel— that’s The Evalina. Our massive two-bedroom deluxe suite had a bathroom larger than most hotel rooms, a full kitchen, an in-suite washer and dryer, and a full living room, plus plenty of closet space, storage, and hallways. It was everything we needed to enjoy Portland to the fullest....

Dandelion Restaurant Cuisine du Soleil

Dandelion serves, in my humble opinion, the best Mediterranean food in Connecticut. We’d heard great things about the restaurant, which has been open for less than a year, but what we experienced far exceeded our expectations. The space is breathtaking and by far one of New England’s prettiest atmospheres. Trees spring forth from the interior dining room like an enchanted forest of culinary delights, while the sun sets over the warm hues of the outdoor area, bathing the courtyard in dappled sunlight, framed by trickling fountains. I wish I could share all the lovely photos from this meal, but there isn’t enough room here....
