Last year, we drove to Pool Table early in the morning for these photos. And I will *forever* remember when I asked if they'd like to do a piggy back ride for photos that David --without skipping even one beat-- jumped on her back and I LOVE them for that. Happy Anniversary to these two!! Last year, we took their 10 Year Anniversary photos in Creede and they've just celebrated their 11th anniversary. SO happy for them and the adventurous life they've built together.

I am definitely going to take photos of my own family here this summer; I LOVE this location! Let me know if you'd like your family or couples photos taken here!

How many emotions can you feel in 10 seconds? I think Graham Ward is setting a record here in his performance of Fully Committed. The entire audience gasped, laughed, and cheered for him and all of us left impressed.

I am not sure which of these photos I'd make a profile photo, there are so many great ones.

We spent the last of the light together in Steamboat photographing these two with their Little Love and then spent some time photographing just the two of them before their wedding day!! It's just over a month until they say I do at the Boat House and I am so excited to be with them on their day. It's going to be the best--full of so much love and laughter.

So dang cute!!!

I spent the evening playing with these two cuties at their school in Hayden and it was the sweetest evening! They swang, went down the slide, blew dandelions, skipped, held hands and played the entire time. Mom and kids ended the evening with "that was so much fun!"

As a mom and a photographer, you don't need to take photos every year. You don't! It's a whole thing. It's an investment. It can be overwhelming.

BUT, I would still take them every other year or so. I'm never going to tell you that you have to do anything, though. Do what works for your family!

They don't stay little forever. Take the photos, print them ----future you will be grateful.

When one of your very best friends is graduating after spending 2.5 years pursuing her counselling degree and filling in all the cracks with school work and classes and counselling sessions while parenting two young kids, you plan a surprise trip with her husband and buy plane tickets and surprise her by attending her graduation. And when your girls are the same age, you bring your daughter so they can become friends. And it worked, they are friends now, and even decided to be pen pals.

And as she is graduating, you have to gift her with a photo session. And the photos are amazing. And you are so grateful for her friendship.

And then you are so glad the airport is just 10 minutes from your house and you are so thankful for a husband who did all the work so you can nap when you return.

I am SOO excited to photograph in Creede this summer!! It's my happy place. I'll be there for nearly 7 weeks as I photograph for CRT and CMAC. LOVE that I get to do this! I'm already mapping out what hikes and drives I want to do. (Do I want to take my kids to Wheeler?!)

I would love to photograph you with your loved ones in our favorite place. I photograph familie, seniors and more! Message me to get on my calendar before it fills up. Here are a few of my favorites from last year in Creede.

I'll be in Creede from May 22-July 7 and then again the week around September 14th for the fall colors.
