My name is Abrea, I am happily married to Jimmy and we have a sweet, mischievous little guy named James. I have been a professional photographer for over ten years now, and although I have loved photographing weddings, seniors, and commercial projects, my heart is with family photography most of all. Maybe because my own family is so special to me, and I want to hold onto the memories we make ever

This farm animal mini session was going to be of just the kids, but a surprise turn of events made it possible for family photos too and I'm so happy it did! 🤍 We had many laughs trying to get the animals and kiddos to all cooperate at the same time, but it all came together perfectly and now they'll forever have these fun memories to look back on. 🥰

Princess photos, but make them *extra* magical. 💫

A sweet friend of mine wanted to do a princess birthday photoshoot for her little girl, and I asked her if we could make it even more special and invite the Snow Queen herself to be a part of it! ❄️ I had just worked with this amazing princess at another event, and she happened to have availability to come take photos with the birthday girl. And let me just tell you, the joy she brought was contagious. I think we were all smiling the whole time. 🥹

We had another little princess show up at the end, because we happened to be taking these in her backyard, and I didn't want her to be upset to see this Snow Queen walking around and not get to meet her, too! The more princesses, the merrier! 🩵

James and his friends said "Peace Out, Kindergarten!" a few weeks ago, so we did a little photoshoot to celebrate. ✌🏻😊 These three have played t-ball together for the past few years, have had many Saturday backyard hang outs, and have now completed their first year of "big school". We're so proud of each of them, and are so fortunate to have sweet friends here that we get to make memories with! 🎓

COMING SOON! BFF Summertime Sessions! ☀️

I cannot tell you how much FUN this session was, and how I'm hoping to book more just because I literally smiled the whole time!

There is something extra special about friendships made early in life, right? Seeing these girls laugh, cheer each other on, and just be silly with each other shows a side to this age I don't always get to see at family sessions. So mommas, let me tell you-- you're going to want to book these for your kid(s)! 🥹

Got a middle-high schooler who has a summer birthday and you don't know what to get them? This would be the PERFECT fun, unique, and special gift! Make it a whole thing with hair and makeup, or just keep it casual.

I'll get more info posted soon, but I wanted to get these posted because these girls have been more than patient with me! 🫶🏻

Watch out world, this guy is ready for kindergarten! 🎓
I used to teach part-time at James's preschool, which 1- gave me a new appreciation for all the teachers out there, and 2- introduced me to a few classrooms full of super sweet kiddos! This little boy was in the 3's class with James and he was (I can say this because I'm no longer a teacher) one of my favorites. 😄 So eager to learn and always smiling! I'm so excited for him as he graduates preschool this year and moves on to kindergarten, though I'm saying a few extra prayers for his parents because I know that is a tough transition for us. It is always bittersweet watching our little ones grow up, but I have high hopes for this one! 🎉

I had the BEST time working with this family! We were able to do this session one evening at Jetton Park in Cornelius, starting with more traditional portraits and eventually letting the kiddos play in the sand and water on the lakeside. The lighting was lovely, the spring weather was perfect, and we got so many precious pictures for their new home walls!

My clients requested no photos of their children's faces on social media, and I am always more than happy to abide by my clients' wishes! But for those who still want to share a little bit about their family without having all of their memories out for the world to see, I can always take a few photos like these to include in your gallery. :) (These were shared with my client's permission!)
