This decision honestly makes me really sad. We live in a sick world 😔

Due to the recent court ruling regarding AI-generated images of children, I’ve been taking a step back and thinking about the future of children’s images online and my role in protecting them.

As a photographer, I’ve been honored to document children, families, and the moments that matter most.

I’ll be going through my files and social media archives and removing identifiable images of children. Please be patient with me as I work through everything; there are a lot of images to review, and I want to be intentional and thorough.

Will it hurt my business? Probably. And if so, I don’t care 🤷‍♀️

I will never prioritize my business over protecting children.

Some of the images I’ll be removing are work I’m incredibly proud of, and I know removing them will affect my portfolio and visibility.

I’m a mom of three boys, and I understand that instinct to protect our children and be thoughtful about where their images exist and who has access to them.

My social media is public and I can’t control who or where my posts reach unlike personal pages where you can ultimately decide the access.

I will still be sharing my work. I’ll simply be much more intentional about what I post publicly, including choosing images where children’s faces are not visible or are otherwise not identifiable.

This doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from photographing families, children, or our community. It simply means I’m changing how I choose to share that work.

To every family who has trusted me with your memories, thank you. 🤍 Your trust means more to me than likes, reach, or a perfectly curated portfolio ever could!

Qué bonito fue ser parte de este evento con Latinas Lifestyle Network | Charlotte NC y tener la oportunidad de documentar estos momentos. 📸🤍

Me voy de esta experiencia con mucho más que fotografías. Aprendí, escuché historias, descubrí nuevas perspectivas y, sobre todo, tuve la oportunidad de conocer y conectar con mujeres increíbles de nuestra comunidad.

I’m so grateful to have been in a space where art, wellness, culture, and community came together. This event reminded me why I love what I do; because photography allows me to not only capture moments, but to connect, learn, and tell the stories of the people around me.

Gracias a Latinas Lifestyle Network | Charlotte NC por creating spaces where women can come together, support one another, and celebrate who we are. 🫶🏽

A little more of my story is out in the world. 🤍

I had the opportunity to sit down with Bold Journey and talk about something that means so much to me: the purpose behind my work, where I am right now, and where I hope to take it.

Photos by A Gal has grown into something bigger than taking pictures. I’m building something rooted in connection, community, and storytelling by creating space to highlight the people, places, and moments that deserve to be remembered.

I’m still figuring it all out, still learning, and still dreaming bigger, but I’m excited about where I’m headed.
