📣 Big Announcement!!!

I'm now offering birth photography!

I became immersed in the birth world when I was pregnant with my daughter. Like so many first-time moms, I thought I would remember every detail. But I don’t have a single image of her birth or those first moments of her life. That absence has stayed with me.

When my sons were born, I knew I needed something different. I wanted to remember it all—the strength, the stillness, the chaos, the love. The image of me holding my son for the first time is one of my most treasured possessions. It holds everything I felt in that moment—relief, awe, and overwhelming love.

When my kids were little, the on-call nature of birth photography grew to be too much for our family. Being available at a moment’s notice, day and night, while raising young children wasn’t something I could sustain well. I stepped back with a full heart and no regrets for the time I needed to be fully present at home.

Now that my youngest is in school, I finally feel like I have the bandwidth to give birth photography my full attention again—and I couldn’t be more excited to return.

As a birth photographer, I want you to see:
•The strength you embodied as wave after wave rushed over your whole being.
•The beam of pride on your husbands face as he marveled at the power you displayed while pushing your baby out.
•The love that filled the entire room when their baby was born.
•The face you made as you held your baby for the first time.
•The first time your baby opens their tiny eyes to gaze into yours.
•To remember the exact moment your story changed.

More than beautiful images, my desire is to love and serve my clients the way Jesus does - with gentleness, compassion, and care. My hope is that you would feel deeply supported, honored, and seen through your birth experience.

And I would be honored to tell your story.

[ The Betz Family ]

I had such a wonderful time photographing a new family this fall — the Betz family! Jennifer and Bob brought their three older kids, Lucas, Hannah, and Alex, and they were all so kind, easygoing, and fun to be around. It’s always a joy to meet new families, and this crew made the session feel relaxed and enjoyable from the very start.

We met at Lafayette Park during the absolute peak of fall color in St. Louis, and it truly felt magical. The trees were bursting with every shade of autumn — bright oranges, glowing yellows, deep reds, and warm browns. Everywhere we turned was a picture-perfect backdrop, and the park had that crisp fall beauty that makes sessions this time of year so special.

Our session took place on a chilly Sunday morning, but you never would’ve known it from the photos. Everyone showed up in great spirits, ready to laugh, explore, and make the most of the morning. The Betz kids did such an awesome job being patient, cooperative, and genuinely enjoying our time together — which made my job incredibly easy.

I loved getting to know this sweet family and capturing these moments for them. There’s something especially memorable about photographing a family for the first time, and I’m so grateful they trusted me with their fall photos this year.

[ The Zurbriggen Family ]

Photographing the Zurbriggen family is always such a delight. I’ve been capturing their crew for a few years now, and each session gets sweeter as their girls grow. Rachel and Jeff are wonderful parents, and their daughters — Everleigh, Isla, and little Ophelia — are just the cutest trio. Their personalities shine so brightly, and being around them is always so fun.

This year’s fall Mini Session came with some extra excitement — they shared the amazing news that they’re expecting baby #4! I’m so thrilled for them. It was such a joy to incorporate a few maternity-style moments into their session as they all celebrated the upcoming arrival of a new sibling. The girls were absolutely glowing with excitement, and the whole session had this air of anticipation and love.

We had originally planned to shoot the weekend before, but unfortunately, we ended up getting rained out. Thankfully, the reschedule was well worth the wait. By the time we met at Lafayette Park, St. Louis was at peak fall color — and it was breathtaking. The trees were bursting with warm oranges, golden yellows, and deep reds. Everywhere you looked was straight out of a fall postcard.

The girls were full of smiles, the weather was perfect, and the color around us made every single shot pop. Sessions like this remind me how beautiful it is to document growing families — especially when a new little one is on the way. I’m so grateful to have captured this sweet season for the Zurbriggans and can’t wait to meet baby #4!

[ The Krumsieg Family ]

It’s always such a treat when I get to photograph families I’ve known for years, and the Krumsieg family is one of those! I used to go to church with Trisha and Ben, and it’s been so fun watching their family grow over the years. Their kids — Nevaeh, Sawyer, and Nora — are such awesome, fun kids, and they always bring great energy to their sessions.

We met at The Hatchery in Forest Park for their fall Mini Session, and at first, everything seemed to line up perfectly. The forecast said no rain, but by late afternoon the chances started creeping up, and I found myself checking my weather app constantly — I had several sessions that evening and was really hoping we could make it through without having to reschedule.

But this session turned out to be a little unique. One of the kids wasn’t having the best time — it was chilly, damp, and just not super comfortable weather to be out in. I completely understood (honestly, I was cold too!), so we decided to call it early and reschedule. I’m so glad we did, because the next weekend at Lafayette Park, the weather was absolutely perfect!

The kids were all smiles the second time around, and we got such a beautiful mix of shots between the two parks this year. I loved getting to capture both locations — the vibrant fall color at Forest Park and the charm of Lafayette Park made for such a fun variety in their gallery.

I’m so thankful for families like the Krumsieg’s who are flexible and easygoing, even when the weather doesn’t totally cooperate. It’s always such a joy to see them and capture another year of memories together!

[The Finke Family ]

The Finke family will always hold a special place in my heart. Kait has been in my life since childhood — we grew up in the same church, played sports together, and have stayed close ever since. She’s one of those rare friends who remains woven into every season of life, and getting to photograph her family year after year is truly such an honor.

Kait and Drew have four beautiful kids — Miles, Gemma, Ray, and their newest little one, Eli. They just welcomed baby Eli into the world, and I had the privilege of photographing his birth, which was absolutely incredible. Being invited into those sacred moments and then getting to continue documenting their story as their family grows… it means the world to me.

We held their Fall Mini Session at Lafayette Park, right at the peak of St. Louis fall color. And wow — it did not disappoint. The trees were bursting with the most magical shades of orange, yellow, red, and deep brown. Everywhere you looked there was color — and their sweet family was right in the middle of it, glowing. It was the perfect setting for their first photos as a family of six.

The kids did amazing, and it’s always so fun to see their personalities shine through — Miles as the gentle big brother, Gemma full of spark and sweetness, Ray with his silly charm, and baby Eli just taking everything in with that brand-new calm curiosity. Watching Kait and Drew with their kids is something special. They are such loving, steady, joyful parents, and their home is so full of heart.

Sessions like this are why I love what I do — capturing real families, real history, and real love. I’m so grateful the Finke family trusts me with their most important memories.

[ The Kazda Family ]

The Kazda family session was such a special one for me. I’ve known Carly practically my whole life — we grew up together, went to the same church and school (shoutout to St. E’s!), and were the best of friends. Getting to photograph her family all these years later is such a sweet full-circle moment, and it truly warmed my heart to see her again.

Carly and Adam have two beautiful daughters, Poppy and Juliet. Poppy, the big sister, started off a little shy — which I completely understand — but it didn’t take long before she gave me some of the cutest, most genuine smiles. Juliet is still a baby and was so content the entire time. Those soft baby eyes and sweet little expressions just melted me. Watching Carly as a mom and seeing her girls’ personalities shine was such a joy.

For their Fall Mini Session, we met at Tower Grove Park, where I found the dreamiest corner of the park tucked beneath two giant willow trees. The lighting that evening could not have been more perfect — golden hour was glowing, the colors were bold and bright, and the early fall leaves were showing off. Everything had this warm, magical feel to it that made their session even more beautiful.

It was truly delightful to reconnect with Carly and capture her family in such a gorgeous setting. Sessions like these — filled with meaning, history, and love — are the ones that make this job feel so special.

[ The Wehe Family ]

Photographing the Wehe family always feels a little like coming home. I’ve known Kristen practically my whole life — we grew up going to the same church, played sports together, and were best of friends all throughout high school. Getting to capture her family over the years is such a gift, and I’m constantly reminded of how special it is to watch a friend step into the role of a loving, patient, joy-filled parent.

Kristen and Jonathan are so down-to-earth, kindhearted parents. Their kids, Kailey and Sammy, are as cute as can be and always bring such fun, sweet energy to their sessions. I’ve photographed them several times now, and it’s been so beautiful to see how they’ve grown and how much their personalities shine through each year.

This fall, we met at a gorgeous new spot I discovered in Tower Grove Park, tucked between two giant willow trees. We scheduled their session toward the end of golden hour, and the light was absolutely stunning — rich, warm, and perfectly even. The kind of light that makes every color pop and wraps everything in a soft, glowing warmth. It was the perfect backdrop for a family I adore so much.

I love the way Kristen and Jonathan love their kids — with patience, gentleness, and so much joy. Seeing Kristen as a mom always makes me proud of the family she’s built and the life they’re creating together. Sessions like this make me so grateful for long-lasting friendships and for the chance to document families as they grow through the years.

[ The Northcutt Family ]

Photographing the Northcutt family each fall has become one of those traditions I look forward to every year. Melissa and Micah are not just clients — we go to the same church, live only a couple blocks from each other, and have become part of each other’s everyday community. It’s been such a gift to watch their girls grow up and to capture their family through so many seasons.

Lucy and Evelyn are absolutely adorable, and I’ve loved seeing their personalities change and blossom over the years. For a couple of years, Evelyn really wasn’t a fan of having her picture taken — but this year? I could not get her to stop grinning! She was all smiles, giggles, and sweetness, and it made this session feel especially joyful. Lucy, as always, was such a kind big sister and brought her own bright energy to the photos.

Their Mini Session took place at a gorgeous new spot I found in Tower Grove Park, tucked beneath two huge willow trees that create the dreamiest setting. We shot during peak golden hour, and the sunlight streaming through the branches was incredible. Everything was glowing — the leaves, the grass, the girls’ sweet faces — and the warmth of the evening made the whole session feel magical.

Melissa and Micah are such wonderful, intentional parents who truly delight in their girls, and that love shines through in every photograph. It’s such a joy to capture families year after year, especially when they feel like neighbors and friends.

[ The Hussey Family ]

The Hussey family is one of those families that makes my job such a joy. I’ve known them for years now, and they’ve been faithful clients of mine season after season. We used to go to the same church, and now our kids even go to the same school — I love how our paths have continued to overlap through the years!

For their Fall Mini Session this year, we met at Tower Grove Park, and I found the dreamiest little spot with two giant willow trees. The lighting that evening was absolutely magical — golden hour was in full effect, the leaves were glowing, and the fall colors were really showing off. Everything just felt soft, warm, and beautiful.

Phillip and Claire are the kindest people, and their son, Peter, is such a joy to photograph. He always shows up with the biggest grin on his face and is so eager to jump into any game or prompt I throw his way. His excitement is contagious, and it’s clear how much he loves spending time with his parents. Watching the three of them laugh together and seeing how deeply Phillip and Claire love their boy always melts my heart.

Sessions like this one remind me why I love photographing families year after year — it’s such a gift to capture these little moments and see the joy that grows with each season.
