Back in the early 80's I worked as an assistant for Nobart, a catalog house in Chicago. I'd snag any daylight balanced they didn't need which were usually out of date or close to it, or were the end of an emulsion batch. It was an employment benefit. 👍
Nobart bought only sheet film and had a gal in a little darkroom whose only job was to cut this film down to & and then portioned out the film to the photographers per written request. This way the studio could keep tabs on film use by every shooter.
The upper left corners were cut off so anyone handling the cut film would know which was the side.
This shot was done either during or after that gig using a w/a 4x5 reducing back in the Fulton Market neighborhood before it lost all it's character .
may have developed this sheet of 4x5! 😮
