She didn't just arrive for a portrait session—she arrived singing, dancing, laughing, and reminding all of us how beautiful it is to embrace life.

Kim shares her incredible voice at church, sings the blues, and spends her life bringing joy to others. What an honor it was to spend a day celebrating her.

One of my greatest privileges is watching women like her step in front of my camera and realize they don't have to earn the right to be seen. They don't have to change, lose weight, or wait for the "perfect" time. They deserve to exist in photographs that reflect not only how beautiful they are, but who they are.

This is what the 40 Over 40 Project has always been about. Celebrating remarkable women exactly as they are, preserving their stories, their spirit, and the light they bring into the world.

Watching this behind-the-scenes video still makes me smile. I hope it makes you smile, too.

Some of my favorite moments never make it into the final gallery.

They're the ones where Yagil and I practically run to the back of the camera, grinning from ear to ear because we just know... we got it. ✨💖

There is something incredibly special about building a business with the person you love. We celebrate every little win together, bounce ideas off each other, and get ridiculously excited when an image appears on the screen that's even more beautiful than we imagined just seconds before.

Those moments never get old.

Photography has never been just a job for us. It's our passion, our creativity, and one of the greatest joys we get to share together ( after our pets 🥰). Every session is another opportunity to help someone see themselves with fresh eyes, and honestly... watching that confidence come to life is just as exciting today as it was years ago.

We truly feel so lucky to do what we love, with the person we love, while helping other incredible people tell their stories. And if you've ever wondered what it feels like to have a team genuinely cheering you on behind the camera... this is exactly what it looks like. 🧡

Some people don't just brighten a room... they fill it with color, laughter, and a kind of creativity that's impossible to replicate.

That is Jeanne.

Our HER RISE💫 session was one of those days where every outfit, every idea, every laugh, and every little moment reminded me why I love what I do. Watching someone fully embrace who they are—and have so much fun doing it—is contagious.

I cannot wait to share her final portraits because they capture every bit of the vibrant, brilliant woman she is.

Some women simply make the world a brighter place, and Bloom with Becki - Life + Style is one of them.

She spends so much of her life encouraging others—through her work, her community, her faith, and the many women she inspires every day—that it was her turn to step into the spotlight. Watching her 40 Over 40 session unfold was pure joy. She brought elegance, style, confidence, and the kind of warmth that can't be posed. It simply shines from within.

One of the things I admire most about Becki is her heart for lifting other women up. I've always believed that bo***ir isn't about lingerie.

It's about giving yourself permission to exist without apologizing for who you are today. To feel beautiful without needing validation. To be cared for, celebrated, and reminded that you are worthy exactly as you are—not ten pounds from now, not when life slows down, not someday.

If you've ever wondered what a bo***ir session feels like, I hope you'll stop wondering and experience it for yourself. I promise, you'll walk away with beautiful photographs, but more importantly, you'll walk away seeing yourself with a little more love.

If you've ever spent a day with me in the studio, you've probably noticed one thing... I'm constantly fixing someone's hair. 😊

A little strand here, a flyaway there, straightening a ring or a necklace or making one last adjustment before I press the shutter. I feel, and I know I do it a lot 😁.

But it's never because I'm chasing perfection.

I do it because I care. I care about how my clients feel in that moment and how they'll feel years from now when they look back at these photographs. I want them to see themselves at their very best—not because they looked "perfect," but because they felt beautiful, confident, and truly seen.

Those little touches are my way of saying, "I've got you." And honestly, I think every woman deserves to feel that kind of care.

I get ridiculously excited behind the camera... and I never want that to change. 🤩

There comes a moment during almost every session when I know we've got it. The walls come down, the self-doubt disappears, and the woman standing in front of me simply shines. That's the moment I live for.

Leonor gave us so many of those moments. A strong, intelligent, and beautiful woman who has dedicated her life to serving others—first in the military, and now through her nonprofit supporting women as they transition to civilian life.

Watching her confidence radiate through these portraits filled my heart with so much joy. This is exactly why I love the 40 Over 40 Project. 🧡

"I don't know if I'm confident enough."

"I've never done anything like this."

"What if I don't know how to pose?"

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard those words... My studio dollar jar would be buying coffee every day! 💛

The truth is, almost every woman who walks through our studio doors has felt nervous. Many have spent weeks—or even months—wondering if they should do it. They worry they'll feel awkward, won't look good, or that a bo***ir session simply isn't "for someone like me."

And then... something beautiful happens.

With every image, every outfit, and every bit of encouragement, she starts letting go of the doubts she's carried for far too long. By the end of the session, she's no longer focused on what she thought she lacked—she's celebrating the incredible woman she already is.

Jessica shares exactly what so many women experience—the fear before the session... and the joy, confidence, and pride they leave with afterward.

If you've ever been on the fence, I hope her story reminds you that you don't have to arrive feeling confident. That's my job. 💕
