This is what turning 60 should look like! 💃❤️

Dancing, laughing, feeling beautiful, and celebrating every wonderful part of the woman you've become!

Today, this fabulous woman turns 60, and I couldn't think of a better way to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY than by sharing a little glimpse of the joy and energy she brought to her 40 Over 40 session!

Because who says we have to slow down, tone it down, or become a little less of ourselves as we add a year? If anything, I say turn up the music, dance a little more, and enjoy every bit of this beautiful life!

Happy Birthday, Amy! 🥂 May this new decade bring you even more reasons to dance, laugh, love, and celebrate yourself.

These are just a few of the incredible women who joined us for the 2026 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience. Each brought her own story, personality, wisdom, and perspective on life. And each has something worth sharing.

I love looking at their portraits alongside their words. They remind me why I started this project five years ago and why, after celebrating more than 200 women, I still feel just as passionate about it.

Yesterday, Yagil and I got to experience something we usually create for others — being on the other side of the camera! ❤️

And what made it even more special? Our photographer was Nicole, one of the wonderful women who recently participated in our 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience and is now beginning her own journey into the beautiful world of portrait photography.

We had such a fun time! For once, we weren't the photographers thinking about lighting, posing, or anything work-related ☺️. We simply relaxed, laughed, enjoyed each other, and were ourselves.

And now I know exactly how our clients feel when they say, "I can't wait to see my photos!" Because I really can't! 😍

Nicole, thank you for giving us this experience and reminding me how wonderful it feels to be on the other side of the lens. We loved every minute of it, and I can't wait to see where your photography journey takes you! ❤️

A woman of faith, with a beautiful heart, so much kindness, and an incredible love for life and the people around her. Kim is one of those women whose warmth you feel the moment she walks into a room.

And she brought ALL of that to her 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience! Her confidence, her playful side, her beautiful energy, and yes, a little bit of sass, too! We laughed, had so much fun, and created portraits that celebrate the many sides of this wonderful woman.

Oh, her husband is in for quite the surprise! 🔥💋

Amy had a little secret up her sleeve when she booked her bo***ir session. And although the whole idea was WAY outside her comfort zone, she decided to go for it!

The verdict? Lots of laughter, an amazing time, gorgeous photos, and absolutely ZERO regrets! 😍

You might not guess it from our social media lately, but we photograph LOVE, too! ❤️

Yes, we talk a lot about women’s empowerment, but Yagil and I believe there are so many beautiful ways to celebrate who we are and what matters most to us. And love, the connection between two people, is certainly one of them.

Our LOVE Sessions are about celebrating that connection, having a wonderful time together, and creating beautiful portraits that remind you why you chose each other in the first place.

And here's the best part: you don't need an anniversary, an engagement, or any special occasion. Being in love is reason enough!

This is 46. And there is absolutely no shrinking here. ❤️

There is something pretty wonderful about watching a woman simply enjoy being herself—taking up space, feeling beautiful, turning up the music and dancing because she feels like it.

And when that happens during a 40 Over 40 session… well, Rebekah and I apparently have very little self-control. 😂 Of course we joined her.

This is such a big part of what I love about these sessions. Yes, we create beautiful portraits, but somewhere between the posing, outfit changes and all the gorgeousness, there is a whole lot of laughter and fun too.

And I have to say, 46 looks pretty fabulous when you embrace it like this. ❤️

Jamie is one of those women who somehow embodies both.

She is stunning, but what stays with you is her presence—kind, warm, strong, and beautifully powerful.

And I love that her 40 Over 40 session reflected exactly that. Not just beautiful photographs, but permission to have fun, take up space, celebrate who she is, and fully embrace the joy of this season of her life.

Because maybe that’s one of the best things about getting older.
