Some projects take time, patience, and a whole lot of heart 🧡🍂

The tiniest details that somehow become the biggest memories. 🥹🤍

Those itty-bitty toes.
The little wrinkles in their feet.
Tiny fingers and nails.
Those sweet little lips and button noses.

I mean, COME ON. How are babies this adorable?!

One thing I always try to incorporate into my newborn sessions is a collection of close-up detail photographs.

Because as much as we love seeing those sweet little faces, it's often the tiniest features that change the fastest.

And with twins Everett and Wyatt, I got DOUBLE the little details to photograph!

It's funny how quickly we forget just how small our babies once were. Even when you're holding them every single day, somehow those tiny fingers and toes seem to grow overnight.

That's why I love creating these images. They're little reminders of a time that goes by way too fast.

And I can only imagine how special it will be for Everett and Wyatt to look back someday and see just how tiny they were, side by side. 🤍

I can't believe these two were only 10 months old when we took these photos. 🦋

This butterfly set actually came to life because my sister and I had already started planning Skyler and Paige's first birthday party. Once we landed on a butterfly theme, I thought it would be so special to photograph them early so we could use the images for their birthday invitations.

Watching these two explore the oversized flowers, butterflies, and every little prop on set was such a sweet reminder that milestone sessions aren't about getting babies to sit perfectly still and smile. They're about documenting exactly who they are in this season of life.

Curious.
Busy.
Always on the move.
Completely themselves.

As both their photographer and Skyler's mama, this session will always hold a special place in my heart.

Can we have a moment for this ALL-WHITE newborn setup?! 🤍

I don't get requests for completely white setups nearly as often as you'd think! Most of my clients tend to gravitate toward warm neutrals, earthy colors, or soft pastels.

So when Lauryn wanted to incorporate white into Everett and Wyatt's newborn session, I was SO excited!

I pulled out my white jersey-knit backdrop, grabbed two matching white wraps, and kept everything as simple as possible.

No elaborate props. No busy backgrounds. Just two sweet little babies snuggled up together.

And honestly, I think this might be one of my favorite setups. It's all about the babies!

I especially loved just letting the boys settle into their own comfortable positions. Sometimes their arms would be tucked in, sometimes a tiny hand would peek out, and sometimes they'd just naturally snuggle closer together.

Those little unscripted moments are always my favorite.

And the best part about an all-white setup? It's timeless. These images will look just as beautiful hanging on the wall 20 years from now as they do today.
