Ok, let’s be real. How many times have you seen your kiddos’ school photos and thought her smile looked force? Or practically gagged at the fake cyan colored background? Or nearly lost your mind because the photographer didn’t let her fix her hair?

When my girls were younger they didn’t really care about their school photos. Once they became tweens, they started noticing. And now as teens, they are all over getting retakes, but still not happy with the results.

So when my awesome friend Sonja told me (as she was doing the most incredible job on my color - this queen SLAYS!!) about the incredible BACK TO SCHOOL event she’s having at her salon on Sunday (9/14), I had to say, count…me…IN!

Capturing real personalities is my jam! I’ve been doing it for years with “better than school photos”. And now as the mom of 2 teen girls, seeing how fast the years are flying by, I have a real passion for documenting them as their TRUE selves.

Trying to figure out how to display your senior’s photos? I just LOVE the “final four” we landed on from Anna’s session - they capture her passions, beauty & spirit perfectly, don’t you agree?

Falling leaves, crisp air, pumpkin spice everywhere…yep, it's that time of year again! I don't know about you, but as the leaves start changing, it reminds me how time moves fast, and so does life with our families.

Before the kids grow a little taller or everyone’s busy schedules pile up like autumn leaves, now's the perfect time to capture your family just as you are. These moments won’t last forever, but the memories can!
