Ashley & Noah’s engagement session was so effortless! These two have such a beautiful, genuine relationship and were so easy and fun to photograph. We got to be creative while enjoying a few espresso martinis with cocktail photos at Windsor Block before heading downtown and to the lake for golden hour. It was such a beautiful session and I am so excited for their big day next year!

Kimbra & Jay had such a beautiful wedding last weekend! It was nearly 100 degrees for their ceremony at the Chapel in the Hills but these two were so joyful and fun and weren’t bothered at all by the heat. They ended their day celebrating at Black Hills Receptions with champagne and cake and lots of dancing and it was truly an incredible day with both of their families and a fabulous team of vendors.

This week has been a bit on the crazy side and my apologies for being so quiet on this page and behind on messages & galleries. I had a lovely wedding with my sister in Sioux Falls last weekend but feel like I hit the ground running when I returned. Both my daughter and I have been battling a little illness this week, and I’ve been so run down and stressed it’s been a bit consuming. I’m trying to get galleries out the door as quickly as possible and I hope to have more updates to share on this page soon. Hope everyone has a great last weekend of May! 💕

I had a few people ask recently if I’m still doing family photos and the answer is: YES!!

When I rebranded and changed my business name a few years ago, I started posting more of my couples and weddings, but don’t fret: family sessions have such a special place in my heart and I absolutely love doing them! I have my summer calendar mostly up and if you book a family session and mention this post, I’ll credit an additional $25 off!

I had a super busy weekend full of newborns, seniors, maternity sessions, and engagements. And I have to give a massive thanks to my clients for being so patient with me recovering from my terrible cold and not feeling 100%. I’m pretty sure we had almost every season this last weekend with sunshine, rain, wind, and fog but we have the best clients and I’m so excited to dive into my editing queue!
