Taking a much needed break from all social platforms today. As we woke this morning, it was a dark and somber start. 9/11 is a day for remembrance. Lives were lost on this day, after tragic events. Lives were also saved that day. America was coming back together stronger.
The heinous acts of yesterday, have faulted my perception on peoples morale and humanity. A man lost his life yeaterday, for standing true and loud in his conviction, faith and values. He prayed for better America. Days before, a woman lost her life on a subway train and people just walked, watched and passed by. College students lost lives at a campus shooting. Violence has become a normal thing to come across on social media and people have condoned it, as they didnt agree with certain things that were said or done. Violence upon anyone, is never the answer. I will never raise my children to condone that. Im scared for what all our futures hold. Please, pray to whatever god you believe in and use whatever faith you may have to place thoughtful spirits into the world. America needs them. 🇺🇸
Praying for all the families impacted by the senseless acts of violence in America the past few weeks. My thoughts are consumed with these families. We are a severely broken nation.
